Leaning against the window, watching Ai walk towards the bathroom, Kōyū also prepared to tell Ran about Ai's decision to stay the night.

Then he had to go back to his room and carry his spare bedding to Xiaolan's room.

Just as he was about to go find Ran, Kousuke saw Ai Haibara return and asked in confusion, "Ai, what's wrong? Did something happen...?"
