How should I put it? This is a story about a dumb protagonist who transmigrates to another world, gains superpowers, and then lives a lazy life, interspersed with a bunch of weird things that pop u...
The train continued on its way, and after three brief stops, they finally arrived at the "terminal station" they had been chatting about, or what the train announcement called "NT0101 Station." Jiang Ling had assumed this terminus would be as large as the central station, or at least a large station of some kind. But she later learned that this station was merely a converted section of the old subway system, and could only be considered a medium-sized station at best.
Because it was a redevelopment, the "main station" was constructed differently from Jiang Ling's hometown. To avoid the existing subway tunnels, they built only four residential areas, arranged in a row rather than a circle. Internal transportation relied on two straight passageways. Of course, there was also a connection to the old subway system, but those network passages were beyond the comprehension of the average person. This old city had a history of hundreds of years, and its underground system had been developed several levels deep. Even after the war, exploration drones had been used for many hours to determine the length of tunnels hidden beneath the ruins.
True to its name, the main station's ground floor is actually a former underground parking garage. Because it's located in the heart of the city, it was inevitably hit by a nuclear explosion mid-war. One entrance and exit was unfortunately damaged, leaving over a hundred thousand people underground with only the three remaining entrances to reach the surface. Rumor has it that the administrators are considering reopening the old subway system, but that would require first figuring out where the tunnels lead.
Dong Xi Du and Xi Du were clearly not interested in the city's underground treasures. After getting off the train, they headed straight for the distribution center on the ground floor, presumably where the "guide" lived. Jiang Ling followed them around the terminal for a long time, but most of that time was spent waiting for the elevator.
