Keeper's Survival Handbook. Remember three points: If it wants to kiss me, I will close my eyes and accept. If it wants to touch me, I will lie down and play dead. If it wants to mate with me, ...
Inside was a group of fox cubs huddled together. The male and female foxes were nowhere to be found; they must have gone hunting, since foxes are carnivores.
Fang Rong lifted up the stones one by one, widening the opening to a size that he could fit through, and then squeezed in. Fang Hua shook his big head, trying to squeeze in as well, but unfortunately he was too big to fit through.
"Idiot, change back."
Fang Hua shook his fur, and the fluffy long fur on his body gradually shortened and finally disappeared. His body also changed, transforming from a cat that had grown larger into a naked human body.
"You're not wearing underwear again."
Fang Hua casually strolled around with his bird, squeezing in through a crack in the rocks.
Fang Rong and several other little foxes squeezed together.
The little foxes were terrified, huddled together and trembling. Fang Rong reached out and stroked each of them to soothe them.
The little foxes, as if finding comfort, snuggled into his arms one by one.
Fang Rong opened the blanket and let them squeeze in. His clothes were torn in the water, and his body was covered in wounds. He was much better after being treated by Fang Hua, but he could no longer wear those clothes, so he simply kept wrapped in the blanket.
Fang Hua narrowed his eyes, grinned to reveal his pale white fangs, and let out a threatening growl from his throat, sounding like a wild beast.
Fang Rong slapped him across the face, "What the hell are you muttering about?"
The little foxes were so frightened that they kept burrowing deeper into his arms, making a ruckus in the blankets. Their soft, fluffy fur was so pleasant to touch, and they rubbed against his bare skin, making him unbearably itchy.
Fang Rong chuckled without realizing it, feeling a bit like Fang Hua when he was a child. His brothers and sisters loved to rub against him and fawn over him, sometimes looking at him with disdain, as if he were a servant.
Fang Hua sat there dumbfounded, making threatening sounds, but it was all in vain, because he was ugly back then.
"So cute." Fang Rong lay half-reclined in the den, using his supernatural power to block the rocks outside, making the cave completely dark. He groped around in the darkness, stroking the fur of a few little foxes.
He didn't know which tail he touched, but the tail immediately wrapped around his wrist, as soft as mud, with the tip sliding back and forth on the back of his hand.
Is this Fang Hua?
So sensitive?
Fang Rong pretended not to know and did this and that to the tail. Then, a thud came from the darkness, and the creature went limp.
He lay down next to him, pushing the other little foxes aside. If any little fox tried to come over, he would throw it out and then go over to them himself.
However, he was too big, and his disguise was immediately exposed.
Fortunately, this fox den is small on the outside but large on the inside, since it has two fox parents. Foxes are social animals, and there might be other relatives living there as well, so the den is quite spacious.
Fang Hua reverted to his original form, his big head still fluffy. Okay, let's pet him. Look at that resentful little eye; it's enough to scare the other little foxes to death.
Fang Rong suppressed a laugh, pretending not to know anything, and touched his head down to his back, but couldn't touch him any further.
In its original form, this guy was nearly three meters tall. He only reached Fang Hua's chin. When the two of them sat up, Fang Hua liked to put his chin on top of his head, and he always managed to do so perfectly.
Of course, he wouldn't actually press down; he just liked the feeling of being close together.
Just like now, the two of them are close together, Fang Hua is lying on his side, holding him tightly in his arms, and Fang Rong is also holding the little fox in his arms. They look like a happy family of three.
Of course, it was just an illusion. Fang Rong coughed incessantly in the middle of the night, and the little foxes sleeping on him were also restless. The key issue was that they were pressing on his chest and making him feel like he couldn't breathe.
His cough was so violent that it startled Fang Hua, who swept his tail to scare away the other little foxes and stayed up all night watching him.
When there are mosquitoes, swat them away; when there are no mosquitoes, wrap the tail around Fang Rong's ankle, cover him with a blanket, and keep him warm.
Because he couldn't light a fire for warmth, he could only rely on his superpower. Fang Hua used his superpower mainly to keep Fang Rong warm and treat her, working tirelessly all night long.
Every day when I see him, he looks exhausted, like he can barely keep his eyes open.
It wasn't so cold in the first half of the night, and with him protecting her, Fang Rong could sleep for a while, and so could he. In the second half of the night, when Fang Rong fell into a deep sleep, her body temperature instinctively dropped, and she needed him to transfer his supernatural power to comfort her.
Fang Rong sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night feeling heartbroken, as he feels that he has inadvertently dragged Fang Hua down again.
Although he did it willingly, he still couldn't get over that hurdle in his heart.
He had actually considered leaving without saying goodbye, but just like how he still came looking for Li Wenyang even though he didn't tell him the address, and even suffered a loss in the process, if he left without saying goodbye, Fang Hua would definitely not give up until he found him, and he would definitely suffer a lot in the process.
Rather than tormenting each other, which makes everyone suffer, it's better to rely on each other and stay together until the very end.
"You need to get better soon." Fang Rong patted his chest. He had been experiencing chest tightness and heart pain from time to time for the past two days. He didn't know why, but he always felt like he wouldn't live much longer.
People tend to reminisce about the past before they die. He eventually became sentimental and would often think back to the past, a smile unconsciously creeping onto his lips.
Fang Hua remained the same as before, lazy during the day, staying at the cave entrance and not going out, relying entirely on waiting for prey to come to him for food and drink.
If they really can't catch them, they'll just keep a watchful eye on the little foxes.
"Fox meat doesn't taste good." Fang Rong reached out and tapped him.
Fang Hua then abandoned his idea and ran outside the cave, watching intently the creatures that flew, ran on the ground, and swam in the water.
They settled down here temporarily. The parents of the fox cubs had returned before, but they didn't dare to come over. They just stood outside the cave calling anxiously. Fang Rong took the fox cubs out and let them run back to their parents one by one. Only then did the parents feel relieved and settle down next to them.
