Keeper's Survival Handbook. Remember three points: If it wants to kiss me, I will close my eyes and accept. If it wants to touch me, I will lie down and play dead. If it wants to mate with me, ...
Fang Rong waved the ice cream in her hand, "I'll eat it as I walk."
"Mmm." Fang Hua was eating ice cream for the first time. He was immediately chilled by the cold as soon as he took a bite. He couldn't help but stick out his tongue. He noticed that Fang Rong seemed used to it, and he felt that he was making a fuss over nothing, so he endured the cold and took another bite.
Mmm, it's sweet, cool, and delicious.
The maglev station was nearby. Fang Rong and he bought tickets and boarded the train together. Because the train was going from the city center to the border area, there were many people now, but the number of people would decrease as they went further.
They were lucky; there were two empty seats, one for each of them.
Unfortunately, an elderly man suddenly came up behind him. Fang Rong instinctively stood up to give him his seat, and the old man smiled and said, "Not bad, young man."
Fang Hua saw it and remembered the pregnant woman holding her belly at noon that day. "I'm sorry, I'm pregnant. Can you understand?"
able.
He also stood up and gave his seat to the elderly, weak, sick, and disabled behind him, unexpectedly receiving a round of praise.
Fang Rong even took his hand and let him lean on her. Because he was short and all the handrails were taken, there was only the iron bar on the top of the handrail. Although he could touch it, it was tiring to hold on to it, as his arm had to be stretched out the whole time. That's why Fang Rong let him lean on her.
Because he is tall.
It seems to subtly belittle the fact that Fang Hua is not tall?
Fang Rong couldn't help but laugh.
"What are you laughing at?" Fang Hua asked, looking at him with a puzzled expression.
"It's nothing," he coughed dismissively, "your ice cream melted."
"Oh." Because he ate slowly, Fang Rong had already finished in a few bites, but he was still dawdling, so the ice cream had almost melted and dripped all over his hand.
Fang Rong sighed, took out a tissue to wipe his hands, and the two of them could only use one hand at a time, which made it a good time to work together.
Because of the many obstacles along the way, the maglev train route was winding and twisting. After arriving at the station, the driver suddenly braked, and the two of them lost their footing and bumped into each other. Fang Hua fell into his arms.
A milky aroma wafted over, and Fang Rong was in a great mood, as if he had a girlfriend who was now throwing herself into his arms.
Upon closer inspection, Fang Hua was just like his girlfriend—small, beautiful, and short, reaching only to his ears. Wasn't that the perfect position for a girlfriend?
Realizing this, he was surprisingly tolerant of Fang Hua, even taking on the role of a man and protecting him in the middle, saying, "You can hold my waist."
"Huh?" Fang Hua's eyes widened, even more surprised than him, and she naturally put her arm around his waist.
It is now the year 2180. Women are rare, and most of the people are men. It is said that one is called the top and the other is called the bottom.
I clearly look like the dominant one, and the dominant one has to take care of the submissive one.
Fang Rong pulled him even closer, and could look down at him from above; it was a good spot.
Many people around him envied him, saying, "Your girlfriend is so beautiful."
Because Fang Hua is androgynous, and although he has no hair, his features are even more delicate, so most people would mistake him for someone else.
"Not girlfriend, boyfriend," Fang Rong corrected him.
"Boyfriend?" The man was even more surprised. "My boyfriend is so handsome, more beautiful than any celebrity I've ever seen."
Although it wasn't a compliment, Fang Rong still couldn't stop smiling. "Don't praise him, he'll get arrogant."
In fact, Fang Hua didn't care whether others praised or criticized him; he was happy as long as Fang Rong was happy.
The scenery outside the window was becoming more and more familiar. Fang Rong pointed to the station and said, "We've arrived. Let's get off now."
He wasn't good with words, but since someone had kindly struck up a conversation, he couldn't just remain silent and embarrass them before leaving.
"Okay, you guys go first, I still have two more stops." The man was very polite.
Fang Rong nodded and called to Fang Hua, "We're leaving."
"Okay." Fang Hua followed him and naturally took his hand.
The two got out of the car together and walked a while before reaching the entrance of the residential area. His car was parked in the parking lot next to it, and they could use that to deliver the things back later.
In just a few days, the company has changed dramatically. An electric fence has been erected around the outside to prevent any more test subjects from escaping.
Fang Rong arrived at the staff dormitory with familiarity. He still had the key, and the company also had one. He heard that as soon as he left, a new employee was arranged to move in. He wondered who it was.
Fang Rong knocked on the door politely. "Is anyone home? I'm Fang Rong, the previous employee. I'm here to pick up my things."
The door opened quickly, and Old Li looked delighted. "You've finally arrived! No rush, come in and sit down. I just had some chilled watermelon. I knew you'd be coming these next couple of days."
His enthusiasm was so overwhelming that the two of them felt overwhelmed. "No need," they said, "we'll leave as soon as we get our things."
"Don't mention it. I haven't even thanked you for speaking up for me last time." Old Li pulled him to sit on the sofa. "Eat first, there's no rush."
He brought out a large watermelon, which looked very fresh. Fruits are scarce and expensive these days; a single watermelon costs several hundred yuan, and it's often in short supply. Old Li was really willing to spend that much.
He cut one open and handed it to Fang Rong, and when he handed it to Fang Hua, he casually asked, "Is this your friend?"
"Yes, the one you know is the one I told you about last time." Sometimes they would get together to talk about the strange things about the test subjects, such as how some test subjects, although they were fire-attributed, liked to eat cold food.
Some of the test subjects treated them like their parents, calling them "Mom" every day, which infuriated the male zookeeper, who complained constantly, "Why don't you call me 'Dad'?"
Fang Rong also mentioned that he was referring to Fang Hua, who never cried or made a fuss, and would eat or drink whatever was given to him. Other test subjects were somewhat wild, and would throw tantrums when unhappy, sometimes yelling until their voices were hoarse in the middle of the night, requiring someone to take care of them. Fang Hua was the most convenient; he could play with something for a whole day.
