Chapter 314 Gambling Agreement

Chi Lin's footsteps came from behind her. She didn't turn around, but asked coldly, "What else?"

"I haven't told you the full story of the Qihai project." Chi Lin walked to her side with a calm voice.

Ji Wan turned around, his eyes sharp, "Tell me, are there any other surprises?"

Chi Lin glanced at her, took out a document from his suit pocket, and handed it to Ji Wan, "This is the detailed terms of the gambling agreement."

Chi Lin nodded. "In three months, if the project achieves its expected goals, our assets will increase fivefold."

Chi Lin was silent for a moment, then suddenly knelt on one knee and looked up at Ji Wan. "Give me six months and let me prove it to you. If the project succeeds in six months, everything will be fine. If it fails, I will bear all the consequences."

"Stand up and stop acting." Ji Wan said coldly.

Chi Lin didn't move. "I'm not acting. Ji Wan, I know what I did was wrong, but I really want to be with you. Give me this chance to make up for my mistakes."

Ji Wan looked at his determined eyes and wavered for a moment, but soon recalled what he had done.

He stole her car keys, abandoned her grandmother to save Ning Weiwei, and secretly transferred her assets...

"Get up." Ji Wan finally said, "I promised to give you half a year, but not because of what you said, but because I have no choice now."

After hanging up the phone, Ji Wan stood by the window, looking out at the garden. There, Chi Lin was walking with his grandmother, the two of them chatting and laughing, looking very close.
