Coulson immediately replied, "No application is needed. I have the authority to make the decision to have them join our research team."

This is a trivial matter that Coulson could easily decide on his own. And if Gol actually applied, Nick would definitely agree immediately. Therefore, Coulson might as well do Gol a favor.

“There’s one more thing I need to trouble you with, Coulson.” Gol’s tone was less serious. “I need you to help me find a place where I can open a portal, and provide the location’s latitude and longitude coordinates as soon as possible.”

Coulson asked instinctively, "Are you coming over?"

Gel nodded and said in an extremely serious tone, "Yes, I'm going there now. Coulson, this matter is more complicated than you think, and I have to go there in person."

Coulson's expression turned extremely serious: "Okay, just a moment."

The next moment, a portal appeared in the room, and then Ger stepped out of it. However, Coulson keenly noticed that Ger was holding a book.

“Gell, what you just said is complicated?” Coulson walked over and asked.

“It’s a long story,” Ger said, frowning slightly. “Recently, hasn’t a hammer that no one can take away appeared here?”

Coulson nodded solemnly.

Gel sighed silently—sure enough, Thor's hammer had appeared, and Loki's appearance was probably not far off.

"Have you heard of Norse mythology?" Gel handed the book to Coulson, then flicked his finger, and chaos magic slowly spread outwards from his body. "Take a look at this page; perhaps you'll find the answer."

Coulson took the book from Gel, and then the book automatically turned to a page.

Coulson was not surprised at all, after all, he had seen such amazing scenes as the ground floating in the mirror space.

As Coulson read carefully, he grew increasingly astonished. After a moment, he pointed to a picture in the book: "That hammer, is it the legendary Thor's hammer?"

He had heard these stories when he was a child, and he never imagined that one day he would actually see the so-called Thor's hammer.

But aren't those myths?

Gel paused slightly, his eyes clearing from their blankness—he had found someone whose behavior and mannerisms were somewhat similar to Thor's.

“Go report to Director Nick that Thor’s hammer has appeared, and other mythological figures, including Thor and Loki, may also appear. At the same time, withdraw most of the agents guarding the vicinity of Thor’s hammer; just leave enough to maintain order. I will invite some more guards over.” Gel’s tone was extremely serious. “As for the research site, I think it could be where Jane was originally located, or even further away—the farther away from Thor’s hammer, the better.”

The people Gol wants to invite are very likely the Hulk, She-Hulk, and Abominations. But considering they're probably mythological figures, it's not surprising.

"I have to leave now, so I'll leave the rest to you," Ger said, walking out of the hotel and heading in Thor's direction.

After Gle left, Coulson called Director Nick.

"Ger has passed away?"

"Thor's hammer from Norse mythology?"

"Could even Thor and the others appear?"

"..."

Nick's reaction to what Coulson said was almost identical to Coulson's reaction to Gol. But after a moment, Nick decided to trust Gol and said to Coulson, "Trust Gol, just do as he says. Also, report to me immediately if there's any news."

After hanging up the phone, Nick rubbed his forehead.

Everything that's happened this past month has already given him a headache, but now they're saying a mythical figure will appear? This world seems to be getting more and more different from what he imagined.
