Chapter 94 Death is not the end

The two moved with incredible speed, like ghosts, weaving through the hail of bullets. A longsword flashed by, blood splattered, the Desert Eagle flipped, and Yu Zhen, with a backhand, shot and killed the person next to Yu Wei.

"sharp!"

Yu Wei gave a thumbs up, flashed behind the man in black, and wherever the leaf passed, not a single piece of armor was left, and the corpses were separated.

"You're not bad either."

Yu Zhen nodded, and with a swift stroke of his sword, he took down another enemy. Lin Gu snatched the gun from the man in black beside him, using it as a sword, and began to fight Yu Zhen.

"Uncle Yu is still vigorous and energetic despite his advanced age, and his charm remains undiminished."

Lin Gu was kicked by Yu Zhen and staggered back a few steps. Taking advantage of the opening, Yu Zhen raised his hand and dealt with one of the men in black.

Just as Yu Zhen was about to speak, he caught a glimpse of the spaceships lined up not far away, smiled slightly, and approached Yu Wei while still fighting.

"Saviors have arrived, let's go."

Yu Zhen grabbed Yu Wei and used the miniature aircraft to fly out of the encirclement.

"Chase them! Don't let them get away!"

Lin Gu summoned his mecha and followed closely behind the two, wielding his long sword and engaging Yu Zhen in fierce combat.

The dazzling golden badge drew closer, and the roar of the helicopter grew clearer. Yu Wei seized the opportunity, swung out his vines, and grabbed the helicopter. Seeing this, Yu Zhen released Yu Wei and focused on trembling with Lin Gu.

Given her age and the various drugs she had been injected with during her imprisonment, Yu Zhen gradually became physically weak, her movements slowed down, and she suffered many injuries.

Seeing that Yu Zhen's aircraft was running out of fuel, Yu Wei commanded the helicopter to quickly approach the two of them, released vines to grab Yu Zhen, and the helicopter plummeted. Fortunately, the pilot reacted in time and pulled the control stick, barely managing to keep it under control.

"Dad, hold on tight!"

Yu Zhen was being led by Yu Wei like a kite, constantly moving closer to him.

The moment Yu Wei grabbed Yu Zhen's hand, he breathed a sigh of relief. He was about to speak when he was interrupted.

"You want to leave? I didn't agree to that."

Lin Gu swung his longsword, severing the vines. He then raised the black sword and plunged it straight into Yu Zhen's abdomen. Blood splattered onto Yu Zhen's face as the sword flew. Lin Gu moved his lips and said, "I'm sorry."

With a look of relief in his eyes, Yu Zhen's body plummeted like a bird with broken wings. Yu Wei released his vines and grabbed Yu Zhen at the last second, pulling him to his side.

"Dad! Hang in there!"

Yu Wei hurriedly hugged Yu Zhen, climbed onto the helicopter, and slashed his palm to press on Yu Zhen's wound.

“It’s no use, stop.” Yu Zhen lay weakly on the ground, raising her arm. “I have a chip inside me, it will explode if I go too far away.”

"Don't say anything, there must be a way..."

Yu Wei turned around in a panic, not knowing what he was looking for.

"Come here." Yu Zhen grabbed Yu Wei, gently stroked his face, wiped away the tears from the corners of his eyes, and smiled slightly: "Why are you crying? It's not like we haven't seen this before..."

"Don't speak! I can definitely save you..." Yu Wei frantically slashed his hand away, pressing it to his wound, his eyes filled with pleading: "Hang in there, okay? I can..."

“Xiao Wei, I’m so sorry. I’ve made you bear so much that you shouldn’t have to bear since birth. I’ve forced my own ideas into you and made you grow up too fast…”

"Please don't speak, I beg you..." Yu Wei turned her face away, choking back tears, "We can talk about it when you're better."

"Let me finish." Yu Zhen turned Yu Wei's face and gently placed one hand on the back of his hand. "You are excellent and you have done a great job. I am proud of you, but I am also worried about you."

“You’re like a block of wood, completely clueless about relationships, and busy with work all day long. I’m afraid you’ll grow old alone.”

"Actually, I think I might be sick, you know?"

"You're already sick... Don't talk."

The wound was slowly healing, and the panic in Yu Wei's eyes lessened considerably.

"You want to be both affectionate and ruthless; you want to laugh and cry like an ordinary person, but you also want to be like a machine, without emotions. It's a contradiction, isn't it?"

Yu Zhen smiled as she watched the spaceship slowly approaching outside the helicopter.

The pilot left his seat, walked to the door, and directed the spacecraft to deploy a rope ladder to connect with the helicopter.

Yu Mao and Zuo Li slid down the ropes one after the other onto the helicopter, and a glint appeared in Yu Wei's eyes.

"Uncle, teacher, hurry... Holy crap! What are you doing! Let me go!"

Zuo Li ignored him, took out a rope, and worked with the pilot to tie Yu Wei up like a dumpling and carry him on his shoulder. He nodded to Yu Mao and Yu Zhen, stepped onto the ladder and entered the spaceship, then threw Yu Wei on the ground.

"Isn't this going too far?"

Yu Mao couldn't bear to see a child witness his father being smashed to pieces; it was simply too much.

"He needs to grow up."

Yu Zhen picked up the scattered papers from the ground and held out his hand. Yu Mao sighed, took out a pen, and handed it to him.

"Teacher! Please let me pass, my dad is in danger..."

"Knowing it's dangerous, why did you still go near him?" Zuo Li slapped Yu Wei on the head. "Do you know that if you had taken just one more meter, the chip would have exploded?"

"I don't know! You're letting me over..."

"What use were you in the past? To die with him?"

Zuo Li glared at Yu Wei, knocked on the door, and Yu Zhen handed the paper and pen to Yu Mao, watching him step onto the rope ladder.

"Dad, Dad... Uncle! Bring him here..."

Yu Wei struggled to get closer to the door, shouting loudly. Yu Mao, annoyed by the noise, raised his hand and slapped him again.

"Xiao Wei, remember this." Yu Zhen knelt on one knee, leaning against the helicopter door, and shouted to Yu Wei, "Death is not the end!"

The rope ladder retracted, the spaceship started up, and a powerful airflow propelled the helicopter away. Flames erupted in the azure sky, golden and red flowers bloomed, and a heat wave swept over, slamming Yu Wei against the spaceship's walls.
