Gentle and radiant history graduate student vs. Cool, charming, and de...
As it got darker, the two of them walked to a secluded corner of the garden and found a bench to sit on in a corner where the streetlights couldn't reach them.
Song Shengsheng tied the remaining balloons to the armrest of the bench. She looked around cautiously and saw that no one was around. She lowered her voice and said to Jiang Yiyu, "Brother Yiyu, do you want to take off your hood first?"
Jiang Yiyu nodded, holding his face with his two bear paws clumsily, trying hard to take off the hood. He looked so cute, just like Winnie the Pooh in the cartoon holding his face and smiling.
Song Shengsheng couldn't help laughing out loud. Jiang Yiyu looked at her and could probably imagine what she looked like now, so he couldn't help but laugh along with her: "Don't just laugh, help me too, I seem to be stuck."
"Okay." Song Shengsheng moved closer to him and reached out to help him take off the Winnie the Pooh mask.
Jiang Yiyu breathed a sigh of relief. He raised his hand and brushed back his messed-up hair: "I'm almost suffocating."
Song Shengsheng restrained his smile and cleared his throat: "Fortunately, it's cold now. If it were summer, I would be suffocating to death."
She placed the headgear on her lap, examined it carefully, and gently pinched Winnie the Pooh's ears. The feeling was not as good as she had imagined. "But your method is quite interesting. It's just that walking all the way into the school, it's quite conspicuous, isn't it?"
"Well, I met several people like you who treated me as a QR code to give small gifts."
Jiang Yiyu chuckled softly. He leaned back in his chair, supporting his round, cotton-like belly and stretching his legs. "Your school is really big, and the scenery is nice too. It must be beautiful in the summer. Thanks to you, I've had the chance to visit the campus of Peking University in my lifetime."
Song Shengsheng lowered her eyes and spoke gently, "The scenery is really beautiful in the summer. If you are not busy then, I will take you here for a good stroll."
"Then it's a deal."
Jiang Yiyu wanted to extend his hand to make a pinky promise, but when his hand was halfway raised, he realized that his bear claws were not able to distinguish the five fingers. He clenched his hand and retracted it awkwardly, but this clumsy little action was seen by Song Shengsheng.
Song Shengsheng's smile, which had just been suppressed with great difficulty, was aroused again by him. She turned her head and her shoulders shook with laughter.
Jiang Yiyu smiled helplessly and took off his gloves: "Is it so funny?"
"Yeah." Song Shengsheng nodded. She coughed twice and tried to hold back her laughter, but her voice was still trembling. "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? It's my treat."
"Anything is fine."
Jiang Yiyu took out a cigarette case from his honey jar-shaped satchel and poured out a cigarette, but he didn't rush to light it. He just put it to his nose and sniffed it: "With you, there's no need for so many rules. You know, I'm an easy person to support. Can we smoke here?"
"It's better not to smoke. There are a lot of trees here, and smoking is not good for your health."
"I'll do as you say." Jiang Yiyu put the cigarette back into the cigarette box.
Song Shengsheng didn't dare to look at him, for fear that he would laugh again if he saw him. The two of them didn't know what to say for a moment. They sat side by side on the bench awkwardly, staring at the lake in the distance for a while.
After a long while, Song Shengsheng calmed down. She stood up and put the Winnie the Pooh headgear on her seat. "I'm going to the cafeteria to buy food. Can you wait here for me?"
Jiang Yiyu glanced at the bright light in the direction of the cafeteria and said, "Can you take me with you? It's a bit dark here." He was afraid that Song Shengsheng would be hesitant, so he quickly added, "I'll wear a hood so no one can recognize me. I'll just follow you and stay out of the way."
"good."
Song Shengsheng stood aside, waiting quietly for Jiang Yiyu to get dressed again.
Jiang Yi Yu put on the hood, stood up, and walked awkwardly two steps behind Song Shengsheng. He looked through the small viewing hole on the hood at Song Shengsheng's hands hanging by her side, which swayed slightly with her steps. He then looked at his own bear claws, which had no fingers. The desire to be held by her hand reached its peak.
He couldn't help but called her, "Song Shengsheng."
Song Shengsheng slowed down and turned back: "Huh? What's wrong?"
"Nothing." Jiang Yiyu lowered his arm that was about to be raised, slowly and inconspicuously clenched the bear claw, and hid his hand behind his back.
Song Shengsheng looked at his little movements and understood what he was doing. She smiled, reached out and grabbed his wrist, and held his hand as they continued walking forward.
Jiang Yi Yu was stunned. He suddenly felt that he was being a little pretentious. He couldn't help but laugh at himself and then relaxed his clenched palms.
Song Shengsheng felt that he relaxed, and then held his hand very naturally.
Jiang Yiyu's heartbeat quickened a little as he heard Song Shengsheng whisper, "Jiang Yiyu, we are legal. You don't have to be so careful with me."
Jiang Yiyu didn't say anything.
Song Shengsheng continued, "Last night, my brother said we couldn't walk hand in hand openly on the street. But you see, there are always more solutions than problems. Aren't we holding hands and walking openly here? So don't be afraid, we will get better and better."
"Sound."
"Hmm? What happened again?"
Jiang Yiyu paused and grabbed Song Shengsheng. They stood in the darkness. Jiang Yiyu looked at the light behind her, which was only a road away. He hesitated and said, "I said it on a show before. I have someone I like and want to marry. If she agrees, I will get married at any time."
"I know, I've seen your show."
Song Shengsheng laughed and pulled him over to the edge of the bushes, trying to hide him from view. "You're quite interesting, by the way. You've been in the industry for eight years, and all you've done is film. If it weren't for promotion, you'd rarely get interviews. On the rare occasion you've appeared on variety shows, you've even revealed some pretty explosive news. So, are you trying to tell me who that person is?"
