The saying goes, "Once is enough, twice is enough, but not a third time." Qin Nan wasn't made of clay. He raised his knee and threw a punch at Bai Hao, but Bai Hao remained as steady as Mount Tai. He blocked Qin Nan's leg, raised his hand, grabbed Qin Nan's clenched fist, and twisted Qin Nan's right hand behind his back.

Meanwhile, his mouth didn't stop either. The moment Qin Nan opened her mouth, Bai Hao struck her right in the heart of the matter, leaving her powerless to resist. Her head was buzzing, and in the end, she couldn't help but cater to Bai Hao.

Bai Hao felt Qin Nan's body soften a bit, and reluctantly let go of her. At the same time, he also saw a very interesting piece about Qin Nan's past.

I want you to be driven by your animalistic nature, but I won't touch someone I don't like. Since you despise me so much, I won't touch you, but I won't change my feelings for you.

Qin Nan looked up at Bai Hao, who stared intently into Qin Nan's surprised gaze, his words revealing his true thoughts.

Qin Nan couldn't bear Bai Hao's blunt gaze. "I...I don't hate you for anything, it's just that...you..."

Bai Hao laughed: "You don't hate it when I touch you? You like me too, right?!"

Qin Nan saw Bai Hao smile because of his words and was momentarily speechless. "I... I like you, but..."

"You like me?!" Bai Hao happily approached Qin Nan, leaning down to whisper in her ear.

Qin Nan blushed and pushed Bai Hao's shoulder to create some distance, "But, there's no future for us!"

Bai Hao: "What do you mean?"

Qin Nan: "You, you're a divine beast, while I'm just an ordinary person!"

Bai Hao paused for a moment, then said, "You... are you really bothered by the fact that I'm not human?"

Qin Nan: "That's not the point. I'll grow old and die in a few decades, while you'll always be like this. What's the outcome?"

Bai Hao: "Are you afraid of the ending you envision, so you're unwilling to start a relationship with me?"

Qin Nan: "If it's destined to have no outcome, why even begin? Why hurt others and yourself?"

Bai Hao: "Who said there's no result? What you're worried about has never been a problem. But I can't blame you; there are just too many unknown things about humanity."

Qin Nan was puzzled and looked at Bai Hao with a question in her mind, "What do you mean?"

Bai Hao: "If you hadn't despised me for being a beast, then your worries about growing old and dying wouldn't have happened."

Qin Nan: "Long, immortality?"

Bai Hao: "Doesn't that sound impossible?"

Qin Nan nodded.

Bai Hao: "Then I'm Bai Ze, does that sound possible?"

Qin Nan: "......"

Bai Hao: "The unknowable does not necessarily mean the impossible. Besides, I am Bai Ze, what do I not know?"

Qin Nan nodded thoughtfully; what he said made sense.

Bai Hao cupped Qin Nan's face in his hands. "Then, do you have any other concerns?"

Qin Nan shook his head. The first time he accidentally kissed Bai Hao, Qin Nan couldn't help but feel his heart flutter. However, he hadn't thought about such things for a long time, so he ignored it. Besides, there was a big gap between him and Bai Hao. He had nothing, so how could he be confident that he would like Bai Hao?

Bai Hao: "Then, can I take that as you agreeing to my confession?"

Qin Nan's face turned even redder, "I..."

"Then..." Bai Hao lowered his head and snuggled close to Qin Nan's neck, "Let's do it!"

Qin Nan: "......"

Qin Nan's expression froze, and she instantly calmed down. She pushed Bai Hao away and quickly went back to the backyard.

What the hell! This is barely even a confirmed relationship, and all they talk about is sex. Don't they have anything else in their minds?

It was probably only at times like this that Qin Nan would occasionally remember that Bai Hao was a divine beast, not a human.

Qin Nan used to work part-time at a pet store. Animal breeding is when both animals are willing to mate immediately. This is the animal's nature, and Bai Hao thought it was natural.
