He Tiantian gradually calmed down under Shen Yizhou's comforting words. She climbed into bed and lay down, then turned on the TV to watch something.

"Aren't you going to sleep yet?" Shen Yizhou asked He Tiantian as she turned on the TV.

"I slept too much this afternoon, and now I can't fall asleep at all." He Tiantian looked at the comedy variety show playing on TV with a smile.

Shen Yizhou went to the balcony and lit a cigarette. He took out his phone from his pocket and checked the time; it was already past 3 a.m.

He began to recall what had happened that night. If the murderer wasn't Qin Zeyu, then how did his ring end up in the bathtub in the bathroom?

Shen Yizhou extinguished his cigarette and went into the room. He Tiantian was already asleep; she had just said she couldn't sleep.

He picked up the remote and turned off the TV, then lifted the covers, climbed into bed, and turned off the lights.

When He Tiantian was half asleep, she always felt someone pulling her hair. At first, she didn't pay much attention and thought that Shen Yizhou had pressed on her hair. Not long after she fell asleep, she felt fingers going through her hair and touching her scalp.

He Tiantian immediately sat up in surprise. She turned on the bedside lamp and found that Shen Yizhou was sleeping next to her and hadn't touched her hair at all.

She stared blankly at the headboard cushions, feeling a sense of both dreaming and reality.

Sleepiness crept over her again, and without thinking much of it, she went back to sleep, because she felt she was a light sleeper and woke up as soon as it was light.

She got out of bed, picked up Shen Yizhou's phone and checked the time; it was only 7:03.

After struggling with her thoughts for a while, she decided to go downstairs to buy breakfast. After washing up, she picked up a room key and went downstairs.

She'd barely stepped into the second-floor breakfast area when she realized, damn it, she had no money! How was she supposed to buy breakfast?!

Disappointed, He Tiantian decided to return the way she came and wait for Shen Yizhou to wake up before buying breakfast.

She walked to the elevator and was about to press the button when the door opened, and there were those same older men from a few days ago.

"Hahaha, hard work pays off, you're finally all alone?" The older brother looked at He Tiantian with a lewd expression.

He Tiantian was shocked and a sense of fear crept into her heart. She kept telling herself to stay calm.

"Say something! Where's your boyfriend? How dare he let you come out alone?"

"No, brother, please listen to me first."

The older brother got excited when he heard this, and he roughly pulled He Tiantian into the restaurant and found a seat.

"Brother Yong, it's just a little girl, don't bully her," a tall, thin man with glasses advised.

"Xiao Zhang, don't get involved in this. I need to settle accounts with this young lady." Yong Ge glared menacingly at He Tiantian.

"Brother Yong, I'm so sorry for bumping into you that day." He Tiantian imitated the man and called him Brother Yong, apologizing in a pitiful tone.

Yong snorted and called over a waiter to bring some breakfast.

"Eat up, little sister, did you have a fight with your boyfriend since you came down so early?" Yong Ge took a big bite of the crystal shrimp leg.

The other guys started eating too, and Xiao Zhang breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Brother Yong didn't intend to do anything to her.

"Oh? No, I woke up early and wanted to go downstairs to buy breakfast, but I forgot to bring any money." He Tiantian said somewhat embarrassedly about forgetting her money...

"Hahahahahahahahahahaha." Old Liu next to Yong Ge burst out laughing.

"Hey girl, is it because your boyfriend is used to giving you money?" Old Liu took another bite of chicken feet.

He Tiantian nodded somewhat shyly. She thought back carefully and realized that Shen Yizhou had been the one giving her money ever since she arrived.

"Your boyfriend is quite the man, huh?" Yong Ge said, taking a sip of tea and making a clicking sound.

He Tiantian was a little confused by their change in attitude, but she was glad they didn't make things difficult for her.

The waiter then brought out another bowl of beef fried rice, and Lao Liu picked up the bowl in front of He Tiantian and filled it to the brim for her.

"Little sister, Brother Yong is just a talker, don't take him seriously, okay?" Old Liu placed the bowl in front of He Tiantian, gesturing for her to eat some.

“That’s right. We’ve talked to him and scolded him these past few days. How could he say such things to a young girl?” The older man sitting next to Xiao Zhang chimed in.

He Tiantian hesitated for a moment, listened to what they were saying, and finally couldn't resist the power of her hunger, so she started eating the beef fried rice in front of her.

“Little sister, I’m sorry for what happened. Let’s call this breakfast a reconciliation, okay?” Brother Yong said solemnly to He Tiantian.

"Big brother, I bumped into you first that day, so I should be the one apologizing to you." He Tiantian scratched her head awkwardly. She was still a little afraid that these people were playing some kind of trick, waiting for her to lower her guard before pulling her into doing something they didn't want anyone to know.

"Hey, Yong-ge, did you see that? I told you that the girl meant no harm, but you didn't believe me," Old Liu said, looking at Yong-ge with disdain.

"Alright, alright, brother's problem, waiter, you're packing up a beef fried rice." Brother Yong ordered another fried rice.

"Hey little sister, take this back to your boyfriend later, consider it my apology." Yong Ge's smile was really out of character for his size.

"It's okay, it's okay, Brother Yong, don't pack it up." He Tiantian quickly refused.

In the end, He Tiantian couldn't resist the older brothers' enthusiasm and took the beef fried rice and crystal shrimp dumplings back to her room.

As she sat in the elevator, she wondered, "Have these people really realized something?" No, she had to tell Shen Yizhou.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, she saw Shen Yizhou standing at the elevator entrance.

"Where did you run off to?!" Shen Yizhou angrily pulled He Tiantian out of the elevator.
