The straight steps lead to scorching flames, while the handrails on either side are contrastingly cold ice sculptures.

"Wow, what's going on here? It's like being in both ice and fire!" Gu Li couldn't help but complain. "This feeling is just too uncomfortable!"

Mo Chen also frowned, wiping the sweat from his brow.

As soon as the sweat seeped from Tianqi's upper body, it immediately turned into small ice crystals, then into steam, and his whole body was steaming, looking as if he were in a sauna, which was quite comfortable.

Hearing Gu Li's complaint, Tian Qi inexplicably became smug, raising his chin and adopting a superior air. However, seeing that Gu Yan was also like this, he felt uneasy, thinking to himself, "Why does this guy seem to have no reaction under the Ice and Fire Domain?"

The reason Gu Yan was unaffected was naturally because he activated his Cloud Domain, isolating himself from the temperatures of ice and fire. Similarly, Gu Liyan was also affected; being a Xuanbing Domain user, he was not afraid of cold or fire.

The group struggled to walk up to the main hall, where they saw three large, gold-inlaid characters: "Tianji Pavilion".

Gu Yan stared at the words on the plaque above the door and muttered to himself, "Is this the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion?"

The sides of the gilded plaque looked extremely desolate, like dilapidated ruins.

"Well, this is the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion. You two better behave yourselves here! The Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion is quite..."

Before Hua Qingwu could finish speaking, a voice suddenly rang out, "What's so special about the Pavilion Master of the Heavenly Mystery Pavilion?"

Hua Qingwu was startled and turned around to look at the person who had come, completely stunned on the spot.

Everyone looked up and saw a young, unruly man leaning against the gate, looking at them.

Upon seeing this person, Hua Qingwu was so frightened that she hid behind Gu Yan, not daring to look at the man.

Gu Yan looked at Tian Yi with a puzzled expression and wary eyes.

Hua Qingwu lowered her head, not daring to look Tianyi in the eye. "We...we just came to ask if any strangers have come here...we're not here to fight!"

Tianyi smirked and pointed at Gu Liyan and the others, saying, "The strangers you mentioned, aren't they them? Why did you come all the way here to ask me?"

Tianqi wanted to speak up for Hua Qingwu, but when he saw Tianyi's cold and stern face, he immediately dared not say anything.

Seeing that the two of them looked afraid of Tianyi, Gu Yan frowned and said, "I asked them to help me find the whereabouts of the demons, so Sister Qingwu and Brother Tianqi brought me here to look for them."

After Gu Yan finished speaking, Tian Yi coldly looked at Gu Yan and said, "Who do you think you are? Do you have the right to speak here?"

The aura emanating from Tianyi caused everyone to involuntarily take a step back, as if the heat beneath their feet and the coldness around them had become much heavier, making them quite uncomfortable.

However, in comparison, Gu Liyan and Gu Yan were not affected and remained opposed to Tian Yi.
