“It’s time to shatter!” Ais said coldly, then raised the Ice Shield Sword and slashed fiercely at the spirit orb that had lost most of its Tar spiritual power.
With a crisp cracking sound, the Tal Spirit Orb was split in two.
In an instant, all the skeletons lost their ability to move, with only the skulls still able to move slightly.
However, although the skeletons had lost their mobility, their regenerative abilities remained. Seeing this, Ariel exhausted her last bit of mental energy, exhaling countless crystalline bubbles to wrap each piece of bone individually.
"Whoosh! It's my turn!" Flame Scale shouted excitedly.
It swam around, igniting blue-purple flames beneath each bubble.
Ariel manipulated the bubbles to burst, and the broken bones fell down. Soon, the entire sea seemed to be lit up with countless blue-purple falling meteors, beautiful and eerie.
Gu Xi manipulated the frozen skull to rise into the air.
Flame Scale ignited a ball of fire in the air, while Ais froze a thick layer of ice around it.
Next, Ais carefully melted the inner layer of ice, allowing the skull and flames to begin a bizarre game of hide-and-seek within the ice.
However, the Abyss Lord was quite dissatisfied with Ais's actions.
Originally, it had accumulated a lot of dissatisfaction when Ais, Gu Xi, and Yanlin acted alone. Now, seeing Ais's actions, its dissatisfaction reached its peak.
"Why not just destroy it?" the Abyss Lord said disdainfully. "Are you afraid it will escape?"
Upon hearing this, the deep-sea giant turtle's pent-up discontent erupted instantly.
It stared coldly at the SSS-class deep-sea creatures, its voice deep and intimidating.
"Where were you when we needed your help? Now that things are easier, you come here to boss us around."
The Abyssal Algae Beast lazily waved its tentacles and stood on Ais's side.
"I think Ais's approach is quite interesting. Why is she in such a hurry?"
Tidal Dragon nodded in agreement, "That's right, dealing with the skull this way ensures it can't escape and guarantees success. I don't want to go through that kind of battle again."
Faced with the unanimous support of the SSS-rank beings present, the Abyss Ink Lord finally shut his mouth.
Although it was unwilling, it had to admit that the victory in this battle was thanks to the efforts of Ais, Flamescale, and the Deep Sea Giant Turtle.
Gu Xi looked at the scene before him, a slight smile playing on his lips, his heart filled with pride.
With the skull sealed within the ice, the battle came to a temporary end.
The sea gradually calmed down, but a tense atmosphere still lingered in the air.
The reason is simple: those abused sea creatures have not given up.
They gathered in secret, their eyes revealing determination and resentment.
Although they had seized the opportunity to win over the SSS-level Netherworld Algae Beast as their backer, they did not expect that Ais and Gu Xi's actions would interrupt their plans and cause them to miss the chance to escape their slave status.
The crisis surrounding the black balls has now been resolved, but the issue of their liberation must be addressed.
If not...
Some extreme sea creatures, burning with the fire of revenge, believe that only by completely breaking the existing order can they truly achieve liberation.
So they secretly watched the two SSS-level sea beasts, plotting to stir up a new wave of trouble in this seemingly calm sea. (This chapter has been read. Please click to continue reading the next chapter!)
