Shangguan Wu shook his head, and while eating, said, "I'll go find my older sister later and discuss something with her alone."

The implication was that he shouldn't go.

Gu Yunzhen put down his chopsticks and said four words to her: "Come back soon."

"Okay! I'll go home early!" She smiled sweetly at him.

Shangguan Wu went downstairs and had two maids go upstairs to clear the dining table, while he went into the kitchen alone.

As soon as she stepped out, Uncle Zhang brought her a cup of latte to her study.

Hearing the knock, Gu Yunzhen called out, "Come in."

Uncle Zhang pushed open the door and entered: "Fourth Young Master, this is coffee that the Fourth Young Master's wife personally brewed for you."

After placing the coffee to his right, Uncle Zhang left the study.

The aroma of coffee wafted into Gu Yunzhen's nostrils, and she couldn't take her eyes off it after just one glance.

He saw a cute little kitten drawn on the coffee.

Looking closely, it was as if he could see Shangguan Wu lying in the cup, meowing at him—a small, captivating sound.

Gu Yunzhen's eyes gradually deepened.

Where is she now?

Just then, Gu Yunzhen's phone rang.

It was his older brother who called.

After the call connected, Gu Yilou's voice came through: "Yunzhen, there's something I want to discuss with you."

Gu Yunzhen asked, "What is it?"

"Well, didn't your sister-in-law give your sister-in-law a bottle of perfume last time? She really liked the scent and wanted to ask if your sister-in-law could send her another bottle so she could buy it herself."

A hint of coldness flashed across Gu Yunzhen's deep eyes, and her voice was clear and icy: "That's all."

Gu Yilou on the other end of the phone wasn't surprised, but he didn't expect to hear the sentence, "She doesn't lack money."

Does this mean that even if there are still some left, they won't sell them to Jiang Yu?

Gu Yilou said helplessly, "You only need to say that one sentence."

Gu Yunzhen chuckled softly, her tone calm: "It's different."

"I'm sorry, I was being unreasonable."

Regardless, the bond between the brothers will never change.

After ending the call, Gu Yilou put down his phone and looked at Jiang Yu, saying, "Fourth sister-in-law, you don't have any more. Take a look at other brands of perfume, and have someone send over any you want."

Jiang Yu's first reaction was skepticism: "Is it really gone?"

Gu Yilou sighed softly, "I have no reason to lie to you."

"I'm sorry, honey, I didn't mean to suspect you of lying." Jiang Yu quickly apologized and explained, "It's okay, my fourth sister-in-law may have some misunderstandings about me. As long as I explain it to her, she will sell it to me."

Jiang Yu suddenly froze.

Jiang Yu gave a bitter smile, turned around, and quickly walked out of the study.

Gu Yilou strode after him.

Jiang Yu said without turning her head, "Don't come any closer, I want to be alone!"

She ran quickly downstairs and drove away from the Gu residence.

Gu Yilou watched the car drive away, frowned, and instructed Gu Wu: "Arrange for two people to protect Madam."

"Yes, young master."

Gu Wu immediately went down to make arrangements.

Jiang Yu drove to the city center but didn't know where to go. Just then, her phone rang.

It was Aunt Shu's daughter, Shangguan Xinyi, calling.

Are you alone in the city center square?

"Yes, Sister Xiaoyu, would you like to come out for afternoon tea?"

Jiang Yu thought for a moment and said, "I'm in the city center. Send me your location."

After sending her location to Jiang Yu, Shangguan Xinyi sent a voice message to her mother, Chu Mingshu: "Mom, she's taken the bait."

Soon, Chu Mingshu called.

When Shangguan Xinyi answered the phone, she heard her mother say, "Xinyi, you must find out if Shangguan Wu's perfume is the one produced by the Qin family. Also, has anything happened to the Gu family recently, you know?"

Upon hearing Shangguan Wu's name, Shangguan Xinyi's eyes flashed with hatred as she asked, "Mom, when are you coming to the capital?"
