After playing an online game all night, he suddenly died and transmigrated into the game, becoming a famous villain.
At the very beginning, he confessed to the high-ranking duke's daughte...
With each word Erica uttered, an overwhelming magical power would unfold in the space of Hyjal, accompanied by a drowsy murmur.
In the eyes of countless people, the Dark Archmage slowly raised his arms.
Dark magic, like rapidly collapsing earth, peeled away from the surface of her body.
The pitch-black flow traversed the void, coalescing at a focal point in mid-air.
It stained everything in this space with a desolate black hue.
At the same time, Aurelion's eyes widened in astonishment upon hearing the warning.
Because she heard a very familiar word from the Dark Archmage's mouth—
"Greedy for the knife".
This word was extremely sensitive to Aurelion; she had only heard it from Victor before.
Viktor had taught her when she was still his student:
"When facing an opponent whose strength far surpasses your own, you must prioritize safety."
"Pay special attention, don't be greedy with your cuts."
Teacher Victor even went out of his way to explain the deeper meaning of this word to her.
Coming to her senses, Aurelion was slightly taken aback, a question lingering in her mind.
Why would the Dark Archmage in front of me know this term?
She glanced sideways, then out of the corner of her eye looked at Erica in the distance behind her.
Could it be...?
But now, the situation is urgent, leaving her no time to think.
The layers of formations rapidly converged amidst the swirling and intertwining of dark magic, constructing arrays with eerie totems in the dark space surrounding Erica.
Intricate patterns drew concentric circles of twisted vines in the air, forming a ring-shaped barrier around Erica's body amidst the chaotic stacking.
The black sphere in front of me was alternating between expanding and collapsing, seemingly trembling frequently.
On Erica's right arm, the illusory head of a giant beast materialized.
It opened its terrifying maw and charged straight at Aurelion, who was suspended in mid-air.
As mentioned before, the Dark Archmage's body has been completely transformed by magic.
As a unified collection of magic, each of his words contains infinite magical fluctuations and chanting characteristics.
Erica's words just now had accumulated her magic to an extremely terrifying level.
That was magic that had transcended the magic of war.
The Black Vortex that Guides Disaster
In an instant, darkness erupted like a surging tide, boiling forth from the abyss-like mouth of the colossal beast.
It shattered the surrounding silence and nothingness, swept away the floating formations in the air, and engulfed everything inside Hyjal.
It also swallowed Aurelion, who was suspended in mid-air.
A somber aura of death emanated from the fluctuations, its biting cold piercing Aurelion's face and covering her trembling eyes.
Rumble—!!
In an instant, the deep blackness seemed to be ignited, bursting forth with terrifying dark flames that tore apart the surrounding silence.
The mages in the distance all stared wide-eyed.
Their trembling pupils were filled with absolute darkness; the intense shock erased all their thoughts.
A strong, acrid smell filled their nostrils and assaulted their minds.
The entire city of Hyjal trembled violently under this shockwave, the terrifying tremor affecting the entire space.
Even the corpse of the Druga Tree, the source of Endymion's magic, swayed violently, disrupting the oppressive atmosphere around it.
Seeing this scene, Heim Horn, lying on the ground, sighed helplessly.
This explosion was even more astonishing than the magic Victor cast inside Hyjal last time.
At this moment, the entire zeroth level of Endymion was enveloped in restless black flames.
The heavy, dark mist, licked by the flames, scattered and fled, bursting out of Hyjal's interior and spreading towards other areas of Endymion.
The terrifying sonic turmoil engulfed the entire Sky City, reaching the ears of all the mages.
...
Above the seventh layer of the sky.
Victor stood with his hands in his pockets, watching the black fireworks explode in the golden sky.
That was the power of the Dark Archmage, which blasted directly from the zeroth floor of the Mage Capital to the seventh floor.
This demonstrates just how powerful this magic is.
"It's truly amazing magic."
Vega, perched on Victor's shoulder, gazed into the darkness at the very bottom of Endymion and spoke.
Viktor's gaze remained calm, showing no surprise.
"But if this continues, Endymion will probably fall today."
Vega raised her eyes with curiosity, looking at Victor's calm face.
It simply couldn't figure out what the other party wanted to do.
Most importantly, those congressmen actually agreed to Victor's proposal?
Perhaps sensing Vega's confusion, Victor began to explain:
"If Endymion really does fall, that is exactly what the Archmage hopes to see."
In the original storyline, the only instance of the Dark Archmage's attack was on the zeroth floor of Endymion.
The entire city of Hyjal was damaged, causing this sky city to fall from the sky.
But in doing so, the Wood Calamity within Hyjal was also awakened.
Using its terrifying natural energy, it rebound the entire Endymion to the sky.
Endymion was thus transformed into a dungeon for players to challenge.
Subsequently, the player challenged and defeated the Calamity of Wood.
Members of the Mage Council repaired the damaged areas, restoring the entire Sky City to its former glory.
Therefore, Endymion never actually fell.
So much so that nobody really knows what will happen once it crashes.
