Picking Up a Big Brother as My Husband

Xu Moran, a young female police officer, lived an ordinary life until she accidentally picked up a man on the highway. From then on, the man clung to her like glue, and her meager salary had to cov...

Chapter Ninety: Getting Used to It

Xu Moran countered with a question to Xu Ye, "So, have you verified it?"

Xu Ye nodded, "This isn't a shady shop, the prize is real. Ranran, how come you're so lucky? I've decided, I'm going to buy a lottery ticket later, what if I win fifty million..."

Xu Moran looked at the man beside her, who had suddenly fallen into a symphony of fantasy, his face darkening, and he opened his mouth speechlessly, "..."

The restaurant manager soon returned, showed the well-made cards to Xu Ye and Xu Moran, then stuffed them into an envelope and handed it to Xu Ye with both hands.

Just as he was handing it over, his hands holding the card paused in mid-air, then instantly changed direction and handed it to Xu Moran.

Xu Mo noticed this small detail but didn't suspect anything. He assumed that after Xu Ye had made things so difficult for him, the restaurant manager thought he was hard to talk to and didn't want to give him another chance to make things difficult, so he gave her the card.

Xu Moran didn't want the card in the first place. She said that she had never had good luck, so she really couldn't believe that she had won the prize.

Xu Ye noticed her hesitation, leaned close to her ear, and said with a smile, "Ranran, it seems that your good fortune has begun from this moment on."

Xu Moran suddenly turned her face to look at Xu Ye, only to see his starry eyes looking at her with doting eyes, and the temperature on his face suddenly soared.

Not wanting Xu Ye to notice her flushed face, she quickly took the card from the restaurant manager, said thank you, and hurried out of the private room.

She heard Xu Ye's footsteps behind her, but he didn't immediately catch up. Because she didn't turn around, she didn't know that Xu Ye paused for a moment in front of the restaurant manager when he left the private room. Although he didn't say anything and his face was expressionless, the restaurant manager knew that he had performed exceptionally well tonight.

Having pleased the big boss, the restaurant manager was secretly pleased, wondering if it meant he would soon be promoted and receive a raise.

If he could really get a promotion and a raise, that would be perfect. He could finally resolve the issue of that old cannon fire he had lost control of last time, which had now led to him being entangled with that old cannon fire.

There's a song that goes, "In the village there's a girl named Xiaofang, beautiful and kind. There's also a Xiaofang in his village, and he's been thinking about her for many years."

Just last month, "Xiao Fang," who had become Lao Fang in his village, came to see him. In a small hotel where an overnight stay cost only fifty yuan, he lost control and was pinned down on the old spring bed by Lao Fang, where he finally ejaculated after holding back for many years.

He thought that once the old firecrackers were done, he would have finally put his mind at ease. However, Lao Fang took out a camera and threatened him to buy ten sets of a certain product she made. Otherwise, she would send the exciting process of firing the old firecrackers to his wife.

Time is truly a cruel mistress; it not only turned Xiao Fang into Lao Fang, but also led the Xiao Fang who used to blush for half a day just by talking to him to embark on the path of micro-business.

The product that Lao Fang is distributing is quite expensive; buying ten sets would cost a lot of money, and he's worried about how to raise that much money.

Unexpectedly, his daily prayers before bed over the past month finally moved God, giving him the opportunity to get rid of Lao Fang.

Outside the private room, Xu Moran deliberately slowed her pace so that Xu Ye could catch up easily without having to run, as she was always concerned about Xu Ye's back injury.

Xu Ye quickly caught up and took her hand again.

Many things are like this: when they happen for the first time, they feel awkward; when they happen for the second time, they feel embarrassed; but when they happen for the third, fourth, or even more times, they become commonplace.

Xu Moran felt this way about Xu Ye holding her hand so often. In fact, if Xu Ye didn't hold her hand in public, she would feel that something was wrong.

Now, Xu Ye was holding her hand and walking towards the restaurant exit, but she felt that something was wrong. She thought about it carefully, but couldn't remember what it was. However, she just had a bad feeling in her heart.

Once she had stepped out of the restaurant, Xu Moran said "Oh," and finally realized what was wrong.

Xiao Mei!

She and Xu Ye almost left together, but they forgot about Xiao Mei, who had been pulled to the backyard by the waiter.

Xu Moran wanted to find Xiao Mei in the backyard as soon as possible, so she didn't have time to talk to Xu Ye and shook off his hand.

For Xu Ye, holding Xu Moran's hand meant holding his own; he didn't exert any force, and Xu Moran easily shook him off.

Xu Ye had already guessed why Xu Moran had run back to the restaurant. Looking at her anxious back, he breathed a sigh of relief. As long as Xiao Mei is there, he didn't have to worry about her getting lost.

Xu Moran was unaware of this. Although she felt that Xiao Mei was already incredibly clever, she could never escape the fact that it was a dog. She was very worried that if it got lost, it would easily be caught and made into dog meat hot pot in the gradually getting colder weather.

With that thought in mind, Xu Moran quickened her pace as she ran towards the backyard of the restaurant.

Xu Ye didn't stand still and wait for Xu Moran and Xiao Mei, but followed Xu Moran's footsteps.

Xu Moran quickly arrived at the backyard, but did not see Xiao Mei. She became anxious. There were several rooms in the backyard, which were the dormitories for the restaurant staff. She didn't care about them anymore and went to push them one by one.

Fortunately, none of the dormitories were locked, and Xu Moran easily pushed open one employee dormitory after another. He didn't see Xiao Mei's dog in any of the ones he pushed open.

Xu Moran's imagination became richer after she found Xu Ye in the middle of the night. She even connected the disappearance of Xiao Mei to her winning the lottery.
