This is an independent female protagonist story. It involves rebirth, spatial abilities, hoarding supplies, post-apocalyptic survival, and occasional team-ups.
Disasters include earthquakes, ...
Uncle Mo sighed and took out the wooden box in his hand: "Inside is a letter your mother left for you. She said that she would give it to you when Li Zhenzhen appeared and told everything, and when that child came back. I thought I wouldn't live to see that day. Mo Qing, you know your mother's character. Her pain must be no less than yours, but I think her letter will tell you the truth and the whole story more fully."
In the past that Li Zhenzhen described, she was too innocent. Uncle Mo believed in his sister-in-law's character and knew that she had investigated some things, but in the end, she kept them buried.
Uncle Mo knew that his sister-in-law always left herself an out and wouldn't easily go to extremes. After Mo Qing got married, Li Zhenzhen never appeared again, so he thought everything was over.
When Li Zhenzhen saw the wooden box that Uncle Mo took out, her eyes narrowed and her expression changed slightly. She scoffed, knowing that the old woman had a backup plan.
It doesn't matter anymore. Li Ke has already been confirmed to be a child of the Mo family, and she is Li Ke's biological mother. This child is really useful. It's a pity that Li Zhenzhen regrets it a bit. If she had put more effort into this child back then.
Holding her child, she was all alone when she threatened Mo's mother. She used all her courage and luck to easily receive the 30 million, which was enough for her at the time. She really never thought of having anything to do with the Mo family again.
Seeing Mo Qing take the wooden box and about to open it, Li Zhenzhen said slowly, "No matter what your mother said in the letter, it was still unfriendly to me. Mo Qing, are you sure you want to sever all ties with me and let Li Ke know why all this happened? Let her know what your mother did to me? Let her know what the root of all this tragedy is?"
Mo Qing gripped the box tightly, stared at Li Zhenzhen for a long while, and then stopped making any further moves.
Seeing that Mo Qing had stopped moving, Li Zhenzhen tentatively asked, "Can you give me this letter to handle?"
Upon hearing this, Mo Qing's eyes turned cold. Mo Bao'er, standing beside her, directly pointed out Li Zhenzhen's excessive and unrealistic demands: "This is my grandmother's will! My father never even read it. Your request is excessive, unreasonable, and utterly absurd!"
Li Zhenzhen sighed inwardly. Sure enough, she couldn't be fooled. She was just trying it out. If they didn't give it to her, so be it.
After hearing Li Zhenzhen recount her past, Mo Qing could no longer utter any words of accusation against her. Perhaps there really were things in his mother's letter that Li Zhenzhen didn't want him to know.
However, Mo Qing also didn't want Li Ke to know about the past that Li Zhenzhen had revealed. It wasn't for the sake of the Mo family's reputation; he just didn't want the child to suffer any more harm.
He abandoned his idea of opening his mother's letter in front of Li Zhenzhen and said, "I have nothing to say if you don't love this child, but I love her and I want to acknowledge her. She will be written into our Mo family genealogy and receive everything she deserves. As her mother, I will ensure that you can spend your old age in peace at Qingyuan Base. Bao'er, have the housekeeper send your Aunt Zhen back."
Li Zhenzhen stood up and looked at Mo Qing sarcastically, "It's too late. She's grown up and doesn't need anything anymore. I don't know much about Li Ke, but what I know most is that she's a born stubborn person. She didn't acknowledge me before, she didn't acknowledge you later, and she won't acknowledge you in the future."
Mo Qing straightened up and looked at Li Zhenzhen firmly: "No, it's never too late. My child is different from you. She is excellent and kind. She will let you go because you gave up on her first. Li Zhenzhen, you don't deserve to be a mother."
Li Zhenzhen smiled: "Really? But I am her mother, a true blood relative who cannot be severed. By the way, I will also participate in the family genealogy registration. If there is any news about my child, please let me know, after all, I also have a lot to say to her."
Mo Qing stared at Li Zhenzhen: "Don't go too far. You know I'm not a weak person. The courtesy I'm showing you right now is for Li Ke's sake."
"Who's going too far? No matter what, she grew up eating our Li family's food. Now, you think you can just pluck the fruit after saying you love her? You're dreaming!" Li Zhenzhen snorted in response, then turned and walked outside. Mo Bao'er saw that the housekeeper was already waiting at the door, so she didn't follow her out.
"Dad, I'm calling the doctor over. You look terrible!" Mo Bao'er's eyes reddened with anxiety.
Mo Qing took a deep breath: "Go ahead, I'll sit with your great-uncle for a while."
Uncle Mo witnessed all of this. This woman was truly remarkable. It was a pity that if she had entered the Mo family cleanly and honestly, she might have been a good woman in charge of the household.
Mo Bao'er went to find the doctor, and Uncle Mo got up and went to Mo Qing to comfort her, saying, "You're so young, and you've just found your child. You must take good care of your health."
Mo Qing nodded in agreement: "I will. I haven't brought my child back yet, so I have to live well."
Seeing that Mo Qing kept holding the wooden box without opening it in public, Uncle Mo knew that the child was kind-hearted and that if there was anything unpleasant in the letter, he wouldn't have brought it up.
Mo Bao'er called the doctor over, and Uncle Mo then got up to take his leave: "Take good care of your health and avoid getting upset or angry. You've been in charge of the family for so long, what storms haven't you weathered? I think Li Ke is just as good as you. Don't let past events upset you. When I get back, I'll choose an auspicious day and then write the child into the family genealogy. In the meantime, contact her and see if you want to change her name or something."
Mo Qingyi agreed to everything. Mo Bao'er instructed the steward to watch over her father and personally escorted Uncle Mo to his carriage and away.
