Chapter 51 Repairing the Reservoir

A breakfast of hot milk porridge, various side dishes, fruit, fried dough sticks, steamed buns, sandwich bread, and two kinds of nutritious meat soup makes for a very substantial breakfast.

Li Ke took a bowl and filled it with white meat soup. He also took a plate and put some fruit, side dishes, fried dough sticks, and steamed buns on it.

Aunt Chen turned around and saw her movements, and immediately screamed in panic, "What are you doing? These things are not for you to eat!"

After saying that, she came up and tried to take away the soup and various dishes that Li Ke had served. Li Ke immediately grabbed a rolling pin from the side and held it against Aunt Chen's chest: "If you dare to move again, I'll destroy all the food here!"

Aunt Chen had recently witnessed Li Ke's cunning, and she cried out in anguish and helplessness, "These are breakfasts I prepared for the old lady, the old man, and Mr. Chen who is staying at the hospital. If you take them, it won't be enough. Can't you go out and buy some food yourself?"

Only then did Li Ke realize that the old man and woman from the Chen family were both hospitalized.

"How come they're both in the hospital? Did the old lady beat up Grandpa Chen last night too?" Li Ke asked, somewhat gossipy.

That old lady was too fierce. In her memory, when Old Man Chen disciplined Old Lady Chen, it was always a one-sided beating. Only when Chen Niansheng was around, with her son protecting her, would Old Lady Chen be a little better off.

Aunt Chen knew it was impossible to get the food that Li Ke had taken back, so she turned around and took out her cleaned thermos and lunchbox, and packed the ginseng soup, side dishes and staple food into different categories and kept them warm.

Although she didn't want to pay attention to Li Ke, her gossipy nature still made her unable to resist replying: "Isn't it all because of you, you jinx? The old lady was severely beaten by the old man and was sent to the hospital last night. The old man also said that he had chest pains and was also admitted to the hospital. Now Mr. Chen and your aunt are both in the hospital taking care of her."

Li Ke smiled knowingly upon hearing this, then took her food to the dining room to eat.

Aunt Chen saw Li Ke leave after laughing, and she still had to suffer and work hard to prepare these meals. The hospital clearly had a good supply of nutritious meals, but they insisted on ordering their nanny around.

Even after returning to their hometown, they always told people how well they had taken care of her. Thinking of this, Aunt Chen felt angry. Just as she was about to pack some nutritious soup for the two old folks, a surge of malice welled up in Aunt Chen's heart. She spat into one of the thermos containers, wishing them a humiliation.

"Are you happy now? How did you become like this? I really don't recognize you anymore. Where did you hide my beloved sister?" Chen Jiaojiao saw Li Ke sitting down on the other side, eating breakfast as if no one else was there. She held back for a long time but couldn't help but ask.

Li Ke was drinking her soup when she suddenly heard Chen Jiaojiao's words, which made her so disgusted that she almost choked. She was planning to ignore her for the time being, but this little trash actually came to provoke her, and she couldn't tolerate it.
