Ai Cao was bound to a system under the Heaven's Will.
The skills provided by the system allow men to get pregnant, using their bodies as nourishment (upon death) to birth new life.
...
Ai Cao responded. She glanced at Old Master Song, whose face was flushed with anger, and checked her skills. It was a pity she hadn't encountered a suitable soul yet, otherwise she could have made this old man one of the masses.
But other things should work too... Ai Cao looked at her [Menstrual Cycle] and other skills, and asked the system, "Does he have any luck?"
The system said, "It used to exist, but it doesn't anymore."
Ai Cao gave Master Song one last regretful look. She noticed his large belly; he clearly had enough fat to support the children. He could probably raise several at once.
Master Song slammed his fist on the table and stood up, angrily rebuking Song Tang: "How dare you!"
Song Tang laughed without fear and said, "Why wouldn't I dare? You're the one who benefits, not me." Her eyes were bright, and she stared aggressively at Master Song. "You're the one who begged me to go."
Old Master Song fell silent.
Songtang took Aicao's hand and walked out without looking back.
Master Song said coldly, "Leave the young lady here!"
The sound of armor clashing outside the door filled the air as guards filed in, blocking the entrance to the main hall.
Songtang paused in his steps.
"Do you need me to pick you up?" Ai Cao asked. She reached for the short sword at her waist. "I can fight my way out."
Song Tang took a deep breath and said, "You clear the way, I have things to do, I'll be right back."
As Ai Cao drew her short sword, Song Tang rushed back to Master Song's side. Amidst Master Song's widening smile, she picked up the teacup that had spilled a little tea and threw it forcefully at his face.
Master Song tried to dodge, but his movement was interrupted by the tug of his robe. The remaining tea in the teacup was then poured all over his face.
Song Tang smiled and said, "I forgot to serve you tea, this is to make up for it!"
She turned around, only to find that Ai Cao had already slit several people's throats with her short sword. She was caught up in the killing, only paying attention to the sound of the sword cutting through flesh; it was Song Tang who pulled her away, saying that Master Song had sent people again, and that they should leave quickly.
Ai Cao snapped out of her daze, embarrassed, tore off a piece of the corpse's outer garment, wiped the blood off the short sword, and put it back on her waist.
Master Song's cold gaze fell on the short sword.
He collapsed, exhausted, and watched them leave in silence. Even when the guard announced that the gate was broken again, he remained seated without uttering a word.
Mrs. Song stood quietly behind him, like a ghost.
