The mother and daughter chatted at home for a while. Pei's mother went to the kitchen to cook mung bean soup and then took Pei Zhi to the field to deliver it to them.

Du Lei was willing to humble himself and act as a concubine for Pei Zhi's sake, so how could he bear to hurt Pei Zhi?

No wonder Pei Zhi was so confident.

"Okay, you're awesome."

Pei Wang was completely relieved and went to drink mung bean soup.
