Curious, she looked over and saw a tall, blond young man standing in front of her. His smile was full of sunshine and warmth, making her feel very happy. The young man introduced himself, "I am the general's adjutant. You can call me Lance."

Shen Wangshu blinked, looking at the young man in military uniform who was smiling exceptionally happily, his face seemingly blooming with joy.

She tilted her head, looking confused.

"Hello." She smiled politely, feeling that this sudden enthusiasm was definitely up to no good.

Is he trying to poach his superior's employee?

Effie gave a cold snort, causing the young man to awkwardly withdraw his outstretched hand.

“Miss Alice, you don’t know, the General is very concerned about you. He was concerned about your health all day yesterday.” The young man named Lance was obviously good at talking. He pretended not to see Effie’s glare and followed Shen Wangshu closely, saying quickly, “The General didn’t sleep all day yesterday. He was waiting here just to see you again, Miss. I have been the General’s adjutant for decades and I have never seen him have such feelings for any other woman.”

He paused, then said slowly with a smile, "There aren't any men either."

Effie suddenly let out a sharp, cold laugh.

Lance wiped the cold sweat from his brow and continued to chuckle.

Although it was a little awkward, he was extremely handsome. People who are beautiful and likable are always hard to criticize.

Shen Wangshu smiled and secretly reached out to take the hand of the black-haired man walking beside her, asking softly, "So concerned about me?" She gently scratched his rough hand with her little finger.

As expected of a young lady from the prestigious Field family, she can even use her little finger.

Seeing his general's body stiffen even more, the handsome adjutant was filled with admiration for Miss Alice.

He felt he had found a golden opportunity and knew he had to cling to it for the sake of his future. She regretted putting those two on the warship. Just as she was about to warn Shen Wangshu again not to be fooled by sweet words, she heard cheers coming from a nearby cabin. The cheers, though still somewhat childish, were full of enthusiasm.

She raised an eyebrow and led Shen Wangshu to the cabin.

The guards on both sides opened the door, revealing smiling faces that Shen Wangshu recognized very well.

"Alice!" Lori quickly walked over and pulled Shen Wangshu towards her companion in the cabin.

Everyone quickly walked over and surrounded Shen Wangshu.

Their pure and passionate feelings even made them forget that two high-ranking military officials were standing nearby.

Looking at that familiar face, Shen Wangshu couldn't help but smile.

These are their companions who escaped the warship in the spaceship. They were unharmed and looked excited, clearly having suffered no injury.

Luo Li pulled Shen Wangshu out of the crowd and aside, scratching her red hair, looking quite agitated. After a short while, she couldn't help but turn around and ask, "I heard that the military highly praised our batch of students and seems to be giving priority to selecting us to fill positions in the military."

"You want to go?" Shen Wangshu asked.

"And you?"

"I want to pursue further studies," Shen Wangshu said honestly.
