Chapter 142 Heavenly Emperor (Part Two)

This seemingly defiant rejection made Wang Shu Shaojun raise an eyebrow.

The celestial guards looked at him with such hatred that it was as if he had committed some heinous crime.

Of course, she didn't do anything good either.

However, looks can't kill. Wang Shu Shaojun was only interested in the interests of herself and her people, completely disregarding whether these celestial guards wanted to tear her to pieces. She merely subconsciously wiped her cold sword blade, casually glancing at the enormous demonic beasts before her.

In the blink of an eye, a continuous flash of spiritual light appeared, and countless demonic beasts transformed into human form, landing before her. Beside her, a smiling girl in a jade-green dress followed. She had long, narrow eyes with vertical pupils, and although she appeared innocent and cute, a single glance from her could send chills down one's spine.

But when she held Wang Shu Shaojun's hand, she seemed completely harmless.

When her eyes swept over Xuanxi Tianjun, a look of lust slowly crept in, as if she wanted to devour him whole.

"Wangwang, can I eat him?" she asked with a grin, tilting her head as casually as if she were asking about the weather, as easily as drinking water.

"No." This is an important tool for resisting the Heavenly Emperor, Wang Shu Shaojun refused.

At that moment, she suddenly hesitated for a second, as if... she was very unwilling for anyone to hurt Xuanxi Tianjun.

"If you die, I will lose my shield." She murmured, looking thoughtfully at the tall, handsome but aloof young man, unsure whether she was explaining it to him or to herself.

He seemed oblivious to the girl beside him, her mouth watering with desire. He stood silently beside her, a feeling so familiar that Wang Shu Shaojun was momentarily disoriented, as if she knew him well—standing beside her, being her support, or the one who protected her. She was overwhelmed by this familiar feeling, almost to the point of tears, and remained silent for a long time.

"Wangwang?" The girl nudged her.

Wang Shu Shaojun suddenly came to his senses, and then saw the elixir held in the young man's slender and graceful hand, and his face immediately changed color.

That was her elixir, specifically designed to heal wounds inflicted by her spirit sword.

"Why did you give him the elixir?!" Wang Shu Shaojun asked the girl with vertical pupils in a reproachful voice, his head bowed.

The girl was pale and bloodless, and her face, which carried an ominous air, revealed a touch of childish grievance.

Her vertical pupils were almost reduced to thin slits, but she still pouted and grumbled, "The villain is the one who accuses first!"

She looked a little angry and bit Wang Shu Shaojun's hand. Seeing the hand turn black in an instant, she hurriedly stuffed a elixir into Wang Shu Shaojun's mouth, whose face had turned pale. Seeing the terrifying black color fade away, she twisted her strangely supple waist and complained, "It was clearly Wang Wang who gave him the elixir. I wouldn't even give him one if I wanted to, but you gave him one. You're being unfair!"

She witnessed Wang Shu Shaojun raise his hand and flick the elixir that could restore his injuries into Xuanxi Tianjun's hand.

"I gave it to him?" Wang Shu Shaojun asked in shock.

She didn't believe the girl with vertical pupils and turned to look at the others.

Even the silent and sorrowful Immortal Lord Qingyuan nodded hesitantly.

"Give it back to me." Wang Shu Shaojun was persuaded, although she didn't know why she had given the elixir to Xuanxi Tianjun; it was as if she had been bewitched. However, she unceremoniously reached out and demanded it back from the young man.

The cool and handsome man looked at her silently.

After a moment, he tilted his head back, quickly put the elixir into his lips, and then looked at the woman with the cold expression again.

He spread his hands, revealing a pair of fair and slender hands.

"It's gone."

Wang Shu Shaojun took a deep breath.

She watched silently as the guy swallowed her elixir in one gulp.

"As long as I don't die, the Heavenly Emperor won't attack you." Xuanxi Heavenly Lord looked at the woman in front of him with a cold gaze. His expression was calm and composed, as if swallowing her elixir was nothing to him, and he believed that the elixir would not harm him. His voice was clear and rational as he snorted, "A living Xuanxi is ten thousand times more useful than a dead Xuanxi."

He slowly walked up to Wangshu Shaojun, his gaze deep and filled with a faint pity. In that instant, the woman in her flowing robes was somewhat stunned. She looked at the person in front of her, whose face was clearly that of the immortal she hated the most.

But it seemed to leave her with a strange sadness.

"Immortal Guards, go back. I'll stay." Just as Wang Shu Shaojun couldn't help but reach out to touch the man's cold and handsome features, a young man's icy voice came from the side.

Holding the alarm bell, he spoke with a desperate, all-or-nothing expression.

Wang Shu Shaojun abruptly withdrew his gaze from Xuanxi Tianjun's face and took a step back warily.

This young man seemed to be able to sway her mind.

Could this be the legendary magic of the Heavenly Lord Xuanxi?

Xuanxi Tianjun turned his head and glanced at the young man who wanted to follow him.

The young man felt pain all over his body. Even though he was high in the sky and wearing thick armor, he still couldn't resist the cold.

“I am the Six Paths Immortal Lord,” he said coldly to Wang Shu Shaojun.

To be honest, he never had a good impression of Wang Shu Shaojun.

This powerful woman, capable of going toe-to-toe with Xuanxi Tianjun, is clearly just a female immortal. Normally, she should be addressed as Fairy Wangshu.

However, she refused to accept the title of Fairy and insisted on seizing the title of Immortal Lord. If the Heavenly Emperor had not intervened and bestowed upon her the title of Young Lord, it is unknown how arrogant this woman would have become.
