After an accidental death, Shi Lan travels through various worlds to help those female supporting characters who were cannon foddered achieve their wishes and live anew.
She experiences vario...
Seeing her like this, Fat Fish snorted, with an expression that said, "I knew it," and said, "Don't try to fool me. Let me tell you, I'm very smart."
Shi Lan twitched the corner of her mouth and said, "I'm not lying to you. The God Realm is vast, and it would take me a lot of time just to go back, let alone a round trip. Could you give me some more time?"
The fat fish swam around the water's edge and said, "It's no use. Even if I agree, the little grass won't."
Shi Lan chuckled inwardly. They really took advantage of her good temper; they were already getting too big for their britches. She could see very clearly that the grass had no consciousness and could not express its own opinions.
It really dares to say such nonsense.
She squinted at it with hostility. "Xiao Ming, would you like some snacks?"
Xiao Ming stared intently at the fat fish and barked happily.
Fat Fish's expression changed instantly. He quickly hid behind the rocks, peeking out only half of his head, and forced himself to say, "Eat me. If you eat me, you won't get any more 'Nannan Grass'."
Shi Lan frowned, puzzled. "What do you mean?"
Fat Fish snorted but refused to speak.
Shi Lan gently stroked the overjoyed Xiao Ming and comforted it, "Good boy, I'll catch you a bigger fish to eat later."
Xiao Ming's ears drooped, and he lay by the water's edge, drooling.
Shi Lan gave Fatty Fish a reassuring smile and said softly, "Now you'll talk, right?"
The fat fish was still a little scared and refused to show itself. "You should chase it away."
Shi Lan gestured to Xiao Ming, who took two steps back. The fat fish swam out, wagging its tail, and said, "Nannan Grass can't live without my saliva. If I die, even if you take it, it will be for nothing."
Fat Fish straightened its round body, its face full of smugness.
Shi Lan chuckled and said, "You've been here for so long, you've never left, have you?"
The fat fish nodded blankly.
Shi Lan said, "I forgot to tell you, I come from the central part of the God Realm. It's a place with beautiful mountains and clear waters, and the scenery is especially beautiful." She glanced at the fat fish.
The fat fish blinked, completely unmoved.
Shi Lan changed the subject, "Especially since that place gathers all the delicious food in the divine realm. Not to mention the immortal herbs all over the mountains and plains, there are also many immortal fruits. The taste is amazing." Shi Lan pretended to be intoxicated and peeked through her half-closed eyes.
Sure enough, the fat fish had its mouth slightly open, and there was a suspicious liquid around the corner of its mouth that was 'exposed' on the water.
Shi Lan clicked her tongue and said, "Speaking of which, you're really pitiful, spending every day with just this one piece of waterweed." She added sympathetically, "Haven't you gotten tired of eating it for so long?"
The fat fish opened and closed its mouth, its eyes gleaming.
Shi Lan stood up and said, "Alright, since this grass is your food, I'll save it for you. We'll meet again someday."
As she spoke, she picked up the now quite heavy Xiao Ming and said, "After being away for so long, my brewed Jade Orchid should be ready by now. Xiao Ming, you're in for a treat."
Shi Lan took a step to leave, and Fatty Fish, seeing that she didn't even look at him, became anxious and kept splashing the water.
"Hey, pretty lady, I want to eat too, can you take me there?"
Shi Lan turned her head and shook her head, saying, "No, that grass can't be without you for a moment. If you come with me, the grass will die. You should stay."
The fat fish was extremely anxious. It circled the mirage grass twice, then, with a determined look, it curled its tail and pulled the mirage grass out, roots and leaves intact. It then exhaled a bubble, covering itself and the mirage grass, and said, "Isn't this enough?"
As the bubble floated closer, Shi Lan reached out and poked it with her finger. The bubble gently bounced back the force from her hand.
Shi Lan thought to herself that he was quite sturdy, but said aloud, "Once we get out of here, I'll be riding on a cloud. I can't carry you like this."
The fat fish rolled its eyes, shrank the bubble, bypassed Xiao Ming who was staring at it, and stuck to the jade pendant hanging from the hem of its skirt.
As the jade pendant gained weight, it spun around in a circle, turning the fat fish to its back.
"Is this alright now?"
Fatty Fish's voice was a little muffled, and Shi Lan smiled secretly, "Okay."
With a flick of her slender finger, a small cloud suddenly rose, and Shi Lan, along with a beast and a fish, soared into the air.
Shi Lan came out to find the remaining two immortal herbs. Now that she has found them, she doesn't want to waste a moment. She just wants to go back as soon as possible to brew the wine and awaken Haoze's mind. Of course, if possible, she also wants to expose the fake Lan as soon as possible. After all, no one wants to see someone wearing the exact same face as them wandering around in front of them.
White clouds glided across the sky, leaving faint traces. Xiao Ming lay on a cloud, staring at the little fish hiding behind the jade pendant, drooling. Shi Lan stroked its soft fur, secretly plotting how to avoid the fake Lan's gaze and successfully brew the wine.
A streak of emerald light suddenly burst forth from the forest as the white clouds drifted by, cleaving the clouds in two.
Although Shi Lan was absent-minded, she had been honed by the elusive beasts over the past few days. When the rosy dawn appeared, she was keenly aware of the killing intent. The white clouds only flashed twice before turning into flowing winds and scattering in all directions.
Shi Lan jumped into the forest.
The forest was dense with branches and leaves, and wild vines grew everywhere. Shi Lan hid behind a giant tree and looked toward the direction from which the glow was emanating.
With a few tinkling sounds of jade pendants, a fairy-like figure, resembling a court lady, strolled leisurely from afar.
Upon seeing that person, Shi Lan paused for a moment, then couldn't help but laugh.
To be honest, she and Wanrou had a deep-seated grudge. Back in the tomb passage, Wanrou tried to kill her several times. Later, she plotted against her in the palace. Although Wanrou didn't gain any advantage in the end, Shilan was still resentful. That's why she confronted Wanrou head-on when they first met in the cave.
