Chen Ke is a traveler who shuttles through different planes, constantly changing lives.
Some of his transmigration targets lived lives that were like tragedies, while others had miserable end...
"You guys bring out your computers to make it look like you're here, otherwise the staff will definitely come over and ask questions. I'm going to take a look around first." Chen Ke said and left, leaving the four people standing there looking completely bewildered.
Their chairman asked them to put on a show at the World Expo, such a great opportunity.
The two directors exchanged a glance, their worries evident in their eyes. Their decision to switch jobs wasn't solely based on the higher salaries and greater career advancement opportunities. If it weren't for the rosy future that Fu Xin had painted for them, which was exactly what they had always dreamed of, they wouldn't have given up their original jobs.
The company is indeed very strong now, and its decoration is also very large and high-end. It seems to have a promising future, but so far, they haven't done anything at all.
I thought today's World Expo would be their chance to shine and make a difference, but it turns out all they need to do is put on a show.
Even Fu Xin's secretary was getting restless. "Mr. Fu, how about I make some temporary promotional signs or something?" It would be quite awkward for four people to sit behind a bare booth.
Fu Xin sighed and said, "Go, go ahead."

After a quick tour, gaining a better understanding of the current development of the internet, Chen Ke walked towards one of the larger server manufacturers in China.
Yingyun specializes in the production and assembly of servers and is well-known in China, but it is not as prominent as foreign companies. After all, domestic servers are always a step behind foreign ones, and many large domestic enterprises still purchase foreign servers.
There weren't many people inside the Yingyun Guild Hall at the time, possibly because it had just opened.
The elegant hostesses in cheongsams greeted everyone who stopped by with a smile, and immediately offered hot tea to those interested in going in, while foreigners received a cup of coffee.
Chen Ke was also wearing a suit today. The suit was well-tailored, and he looked very imposing. However, because he was so young, the young lady who greeted him when he entered the clubhouse thought he was there for a visit.
"Hello, which aspect would you like to visit? This way..."
Chen Ke interrupted the receptionist, "Hello, I'd like to build a server room. Could you help me find the person in charge?"
"Oh? Okay, okay." The receptionist was probably surprised that Chen Ke was a customer.
Duan Heng was somewhat surprised when he was told that a client had come out and saw Chen Ke. The young man in front of him had an impressive demeanor and a handsome face, but he looked to be at most a recent graduate.
So young, and the company sent him out to negotiate business?
"Hello, hello, my name is Duan Heng, the R&D manager of Yingyun."
Now it was Chen Ke's turn to be surprised. Surely a server room wouldn't require the R&D manager to come out and greet him? "Hello, Chen Ke."
As if sensing Chen Ke's surprise, Duan Heng explained with a smile, "The business department manager just happened to be out, so I, the R&D manager, have to fill in for him. I hope Mr. Chen won't mind."
Duan Heng looked to be in his forties, with gold-rimmed glasses that gave him a very refined appearance. He spoke wittily and didn't seem like someone who was buried in technology at all.
"It is an honor to be received by the R&D director; how could I possibly find it distasteful?"
"Haha, Mr. Chen, you're too kind. The receptionist mentioned that you'd like to build a server room. We'd like to know what kind of business your company does so that we can recommend servers that better suit your needs."
"Our company is a trading company, and our main business recently has been building online shopping malls."
Duan Heng's face showed a fleeting look of confusion, and then he carefully considered his tone before saying, "Excuse me, Mr. Chen, may I ask if you mean that your company is going to build an IDC data center for the shopping app?"
Chen Ke: "That's one way to understand it."
Duan Heng paused for a moment before saying, "If it's just an app, there's absolutely no need to build an IDC data center. You're being too wasteful. Building a data center is no small expense."
“I know, but the server I built is not only for the app; it has a much greater purpose.”
Duan Heng paused for a moment upon hearing this. Chen Ke clearly didn't intend to explain its uses right now. Since the client had requested it, he didn't say anything more and turned to ask, "Then, Mr. Chen, how many servers do you need?"
"Let's start with 100 units." After all, servers have requirements for power and temperature, and Chen Ke's company doesn't have much space right now, so there wouldn't be enough room for more.
"Cough cough cough!!!" Chen Ke said lightly, but Duan Heng coughed several times, losing his composure.
"100 units? Mr. Chen, I have to remind you that, putting aside the cost of the servers, the electricity, broadband, and labor costs alone for building this data center will be at least tens of thousands of yuan per month."
"I know."
"May I ask which company you are from?" With such wealth and influence, are you perhaps a well-known enterprise?
"Chen's Century Trading Co., Ltd."
Duan Heng: ""
I've never heard of it before.
Chen Ke checked the time. "Minister Duan, do you have any other questions? If not, let's sign the contract."
"Huh?" Duan Heng was a little confused for a moment. Was he the one selling things or was Chen Ke the one?
It was his first time doing business with someone, and he was a little clueless.
Despite being completely bewildered, Duan Heng quickly prepared the contract. Chen Ke glanced at it briefly, found no problems, and signed it. As for the price of 80,000 per server, Chen Ke didn't even ask.
"Someone will be coming to pay the deposit later, I have to go now."
"Okay, take care." After seeing Chen Ke out, Duan Heng looked at the contract in his hand and felt like he was still dreaming.
