Chapter 511 Heading to the Heywood Family "Respected gentlemen, beautiful ladies!"

"Tonight, the Wilson family shines like the moon in the night because of your presence."

"Please allow me to extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you here."

Marquis Ford stood on the stands in the center of the banquet area and nodded slightly to the crowd.

"We gather here not only to enjoy fine wine and food, but also to maintain and support our shared friendship."

May our friendship, like the light of this night, never be extinguished.

After speaking, the Marquis of Ford turned his gaze toward Ryan.

"Here, I would like to thank Young Master Renn for his presence. Young Master Renn's reputation resounds throughout the Empire and the continent. His arrival is undoubtedly the highest affirmation of the Wilson family."

"It is our honor to sit alongside Young Master Renn."

Marquis Ford raised his glass and addressed the guests at the banquet.

"Let us raise this glass to our friendship, to the prosperity of the empire, to the flourishing of our families, and to Young Master Renn."

Upon hearing this, everyone at the banquet raised their glasses and, like the Marquis of Ford, downed their red wine in one gulp.

Marquis Ford handed his empty wine glass to his butler and smiled.

"Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy this wonderful evening."

After speaking, the Marquis Ford walked into the crowd and started chatting with the others.

The dinner hosted by the Wilson family was a very ordinary dinner, not something that was held because of any special event in the family.

Such ordinary dinner parties were held almost weekly among nobles.

It was used to maintain relationships among nobles and to discuss some of the family's external affairs.

The banquet lasted until 10 p.m.

After the banquet, Ryan took Diane away from the event and personally escorted her back to the Haywood family in the royal city.

At the entrance to the Haywood family's residence, Ryan gently kissed Diane's cheek.

"I will come again tomorrow to discuss our marriage and other matters with your father."

Diane smiled sweetly and nodded: "Yes, I'll be waiting for you at the family."

After saying goodbye to Diane, Ryan boarded the carriage and soon returned to the Gray family.

Marrying Diane can't be rushed, after all, his father is still in a coma, and the wedding can only be held after Fred wakes up.

When Ryan returned to his room, Caroline, who was waiting for him, was still awake, leaning against the headboard and peacefully flipping through the book in her hands.

She wore a white silk nightgown, her long hair was tied up, revealing her fair neck, and she looked like a fairy from a book.

Seeing Ryan return, Caroline smiled and closed the book in her hand, "You're back, Ryan."

Ryan nodded: "Yeah, why aren't you asleep so late?"

"I drank too much coffee during the day, but I'm not sleepy yet."

Caroline placed the book she was holding on the bedside table, pulled back the silk quilt covering her legs, and draped her legs over the edge of the bed, revealing her slender, snow-white ankles through her white trouser legs.

Caroline got out of bed barefoot and came to Ryan to help him take off his coat.

"Go take a shower," Caroline said, smelling the alcohol on Raine.

Ryan nodded, took off his coat, and went into the bathroom next door.

Not long after, Renn cleaned himself up and walked out of the bathroom, his body radiating heat.

After getting into bed, Ryan and Caroline leaned against the headboard together. Ryan pulled Caroline into his arms and told her about what happened with Diane at the dinner party.

Caroline, lying in Renn's arms, rolled her eyes at him and said.

"So when are you planning to marry Diane?"

"Let's wait a while, at least until my father wakes up."
