Wang Hu held Yu Lili's slender, soft hand tightly, and the two slowly walked into the small mobile phone shop next to the hospital. The phone that had been perfectly fine in Yu Lili's hand was now completely ruined—the screen was covered in spiderweb-like cracks, clearly unusable.

As soon as Wang Hu stepped into the store, his eyes immediately locked onto the young owner who was busy at work. He walked straight over and politely asked, "Excuse me, do you have any smartphones here?"

Although the shop wasn't large, it combined mobile phone repair and sales. Upon hearing Wang Hu's inquiry, the young owner immediately put down his work, stood up with a broad smile, and replied, "Yes, yes, handsome, which brand do you want?"

Wang Hu answered without hesitation, "Do you have iPhones? If so, I'd like to buy one."

The shopkeeper sized Wang Hu up and down, noticing his designer clothes and air of wealth, and secretly delighted, thinking he was about to make a big sale. He quickly and enthusiastically replied, "Of course! But we only have secondhand ones, though the quality is absolutely guaranteed. Luckily, I also have a brand new, unopened one here; you could consider it if you're interested."

Upon hearing this, Wang Hu nodded slightly, indicating that he wanted to take a look at the phone first. Seeing this, the shopkeeper quickly turned around and retrieved an elegant Apple phone box from behind the counter, carefully handing it to Wang Hu and explaining, "This is a 32GB Apple phone, originally priced at 6888 yuan. But since you really want it, I'll give you a discount; how about you take it for 6000 yuan?"

Without a word, Wang Hu casually pulled out his bank card and swiped it without hesitation. Yu Lili, standing nearby, tried to stop him, but it was too late; she couldn't prevent it from happening. At that moment, she was filled with doubt and worry, because she had no idea that Wang Hu had become so wealthy.

Yu Lili frowned and said with a worried look, "How can you spend money like water? At this rate, you've probably squandered all your money long ago."

However, Wang Hu seemed completely unconcerned about her worries. He pulled Yu Lili into a tight embrace, quickly kissed her rosy cheek, and then confidently reassured her, "Baby, don't worry at all! This little bit of money is nothing to me. I'm a real rich man now!"

At this moment, the boss standing opposite them overheard their conversation and quickly chimed in with a smile, "Haha, this handsome young man certainly has an extraordinary air about him! You can tell at a glance that you're a wealthy man. Just look at the clothes you're wearing; they must be worth at least tens of thousands!"

Upon hearing this, Wang Hu couldn't help but show a smug look on his face. He then gave his boss a thumbs up and praised, "Wow, boss, you have such a good eye! I didn't expect you to know all this stuff!"

The shop owner laughed and said, "It's all because my girlfriend is particularly fond of researching luxury goods, so I've learned a little bit about them on a regular basis."

After the boss finished speaking, he handed the phone, now with the new SIM card, to Wang Hu. Wang Hu took the phone and then passed it to Yu Lili beside him, gesturing for her to quickly complete the activation process. Although Yu Lili was still somewhat dissatisfied, she obediently followed Wang Hu's instructions. In a short while, the phone was successfully activated.

Without a word, Yu Lili grabbed Wang Hu's hand and strode towards the door. It was clear that Yu Lili was truly furious; she felt that Wang Hu's reckless spending of money was simply outrageous.

As for Wang Hu, he was being dragged away by Yu Lili, but he didn't forget to turn back and wave goodbye to his boss, as if everything that had just happened was just an ordinary little episode to him.

As the two strolled back to the shimmering riverbank, Yu Lili suddenly reached out her slender yet strong hand and pinched Wang Hu's ear hard, scolding him playfully, "You little rascal, Wang Hu, have you lost your sense of direction ever since you won the lottery? You bought clothes worth tens of thousands of yuan and cell phones worth several thousand yuan without even blinking an eye!"

In truth, Yu Lili deeply loved Wang Hu, but this affection only made her more worried. After all, Wang Hu was just an 18-year-old boy who had suddenly acquired such a large fortune. If he didn't plan and use it wisely and instead squandered it recklessly, he might very well go astray.

Wang Hu felt a little wronged after being pinched. He grumbled with a bitter face, "Oh, Lili, isn't all of this for you? Besides, that bag I bought for you before cost more than 20,000 yuan!"

Upon hearing this, Yu Lili became even more furious. She tightened her grip on his ear and shouted, "How dare you even mention that bag! I really liked it back then, but who would have thought you'd start spending money recklessly like that! At this rate, you'll run out of money soon, what will you do then?"

Wang Hu winced in pain, begging for mercy, "Ouch, my darling, darling, please let go of my hand, okay? Let me explain, it really hurts!"

Finally, Yu Lili's heart softened, and she slowly let go of his hand. However, her anger had not completely dissipated. She still stared at Wang Hu with wide eyes, waiting for him to give a satisfactory explanation.
