As night slowly fell, Ye Yunxi drove to the bustling night market stalls and found a place to park.

Seeing the swirling smoke in front of me, I randomly picked a barbecue stall, ordered some of my favorite dishes, and took them to go. Then I found a seat and sat down.

Ye Yunxi realized that she had ordered too little barbecue takeout earlier, and she wouldn't be able to eat it all soon.

He quickly got up and told the owner that he would take all the barbecue for tonight, and that he didn't need to make any for the later customers. He wanted to take as much as he could get tonight, and pack it all up.

When the barbecue restaurant owner heard that a big customer had arrived, he immediately said, "Okay, then sit down and wait a while, I'll call you when it's ready."

Ye Yunxi didn't sit down. She told the shopkeeper, "I'm going to buy some more things. I'll be back in a bit." She paid a deposit and left.

Ye Yunxi went to several barbecue restaurants and booked all the barbecue for tonight herself. She paid a deposit to each one and said she would pick it up later.

After waiting quite a while, my barbecue was finally ready. I then took it back to the car and stored it away.

Ye Yunxi was happily humming a song as she drove home when suddenly someone ran out of the alley, startling her so much that she stopped the car immediately.

He cursed under his breath, "Does this guy have a death wish?"

The person Ye Yunxi almost bumped into was a young man who looked disheveled and seemed to be being chased by someone.

Ye Yunxi clicked her tongue, "Tsk tsk tsk, so young and being chased and beaten, could it be that he did something illegal!"

The young man glanced at Ye Yunxi in the car and then ran away.

After this little incident, Ye Yunxi didn't dwell on it and drove back to her apartment complex.
