And so, the Sheng family stayed and had a meal together. The Wu brothers even had a few drinks with Sheng Liancheng.

Considering that Sheng Liancheng and the others had to take a bus back to their hometown the next morning, no one drank much, just a token amount.

After dinner, everyone chatted for a while. It was getting late, so Wu Bingzhong sent his two sons away and drove the Sheng family back to their hotel.

After the Sheng family left, the nanny packed up her things and then discovered the gift that Sheng Xiping had brought.

"Sister Lan, look, what are all these?"

The nanny noticed that some of the items in the boxes were unfamiliar to her, so she quickly told Yu Wenlan.

Yu Wenlan went over to take a look and exclaimed in surprise, then quickly called Wu Bingzhong over as well.

"That Xiping is really something, sending so many precious medicinal herbs without even saying a word."

When Wu Bingzhong took a look, he was amazed to find that the ginseng, snow frog oil, deer antler, and lingzhi mushroom were all very precious tonics.

"Xiping is such a thoughtful child. I don't know where he found all these good things."

As mentioned in our casual conversation yesterday, the Sheng sisters, Sheng Yunfang and Sheng Yunfei, are about to start school and cannot miss their return to class, so they will not be going back to their hometown with us.

Sheng Yunfang returned to Shanghai, and happened to be on the same train as Sheng Xiping and the others. Sheng Yunfei, on the other hand, took the train to Guangzhou at noon, traveling with Wu Yucheng.

As for Sheng Xikang, he has a job and can't take too long off. If Sheng Xiping and the others feel that Grandpa Sheng Guangyao is really not well after they go back, they can call Sheng Xikang.

The Wu family was meticulous and noted down the contents of the chat. They then specially arranged for someone to book the train tickets and deliver them early in the morning, just in case it delayed the Sheng family's trip.

From the capital to Yanzhou, a journey of about ten hours, they directly bought me a sleeper berth.

The train ticket is for around 11 a.m. I originally planned to visit the Wu family this morning, sit for a while, and then head to the station.

That's how it is these days when you travel far from home. No matter how anxious you are, it's no use; you can't leave without a train.

Since there was no need to rush, we decided to eat and rest for a while. Around 9:30, everyone packed their things, went out, and took a car straight to the train station.

When they arrived at the station, they found that Wu Bingzhong and his wife, with their child, were already there.

The train departed at 11 a.m. and arrived in Yanzhou around 10 p.m. Sheng Liancheng got off the train with his wife and eldest son, leaving Sheng Yunfang alone to continue her journey to Shanghai.

Before getting off the bus, Zhang Shuzhen repeatedly told her daughter to be careful on the road, and left a lot of food for Sheng Yunfang before reluctantly getting off the bus.

Around 10 o'clock, there were definitely no more buses going to Xiaoyun Temple Market, so Sheng Xiping and his group had no choice but to find a hotel to stay in.
