Bai Hezheng pushed open the conference room door and let Qingshan and Luo Wenyuan in. Four people sat in the room: Lei Bei, Batur, and Bai Yun. There was also a middle-aged man with black-framed glasses and a melancholy expression. Qingshan remembered Luo Wenyuan mentioning a water-powered person named Liu Zhilong in his team, so he assumed this was the man. Like Luo Wenyuan, the four men were dusty and looked like they had only recently arrived.

Qingshan nodded to the four people and was pulled by Luo Wenyuan to sit next to him. Bai Hezheng sat at the head of the table and nodded to the secretary-like girl, signaling her to start.

The girl placed the computer flat on the conference table. The computer emitted a beam of light, and a 3D castle-shaped building appeared in the air above the computer, slowly rotating.

"This building is St. Vlad's Hospital on Hong Kong Island, the Vampire Legion's base on Hong Kong Island. After Hong Kong's return to China in 1997, Agent Huang Xingchu disguised himself as a cleaner and hid in St. Vlad's Hospital, carrying out surveillance and intelligence gathering missions."

The 3D image changed, revealing a man with blond hair, blue eyes, and a handsome face comparable to a Hollywood star.

"This person is the director of St. Vlad's Hospital, Seri White. The information Huang Xingchu has been sending back over the past five years indicates that Seri White is one of the Four Horsemen of the Vampire Clan—Seriek White, also known as the Plague Knight."

Qingshan didn't understand and asked Luo Wenyuan quietly: "Vampire? The Four Horsemen?"

Lei Bei had sharp ears and before Luo Wenyuan could speak, he rushed to answer Qingshan:

"Vampires are supernatural warriors from Europe. Their leader is a vampire who has lived for thousands of years, named Dracula, and lives in Britain. Dracula has four capable generals under his command, known as the Four Horsemen of the Vampire, who lead the vampire army. They are Kurtaz Green, the Knight of Death; Mograine Reid, the Knight of Destruction; Mux Black, the Knight of Desire; and Zeliek White, the Knight of Plague."

Luo Wenyuan was very dissatisfied with Lei Bei's interruption, losing his chance to show off in front of Qingshan. He glared at him fiercely. Lei Bei shrank his neck, put his hands on his head, and lay on the table pretending to be dead.

After hearing Lei Bei's explanation, the female secretary pulled out 3D full-body images of the other three Vampire Knights from the computer and showed them to Qingshan.

"These four vampires are linked to numerous large-scale plagues and massacres throughout European history, especially Selyeek. The Black Death, smallpox, cholera, and the Spanish flu were all his creations. However, Selyeek prefers to work behind the scenes, and few have ever seen his true face. I never imagined he could have hidden himself in Hong Kong for so many years."

Qingshan nodded, motioning for the secretary to continue. "Huang Xingchu has noticed a surge in foreigners at St. Vlad's Hospital since the beginning of the year. They're neither staff nor patients, appearing briefly and then mysteriously disappearing. Huang Xingchu checked the security footage at the main entrance and found no footage of them entering or leaving the hospital. He suspects these foreigners are connected to vampires, likely summoned by Seriek to plot a crime."

The 3D image changed again, and a blue medicine appeared. It was the flu vaccine injected by Zhan Kunpeng.

"Three months ago, Huang Xingchu discovered a strange batch of flu vaccines at St. Vlad's Hospital. The source and distributor of this blue vaccine could not be traced; it seemed to have appeared out of thin air. The blue vaccine was in short supply and controlled by Seriek, who personally administered it to patients. Seriek's patients were random, ranging from the homeless to the wealthy, infants, and the elderly. There was no discernible pattern."

"Huang Xingchu secretly followed a homeless man who had been vaccinated for half a month, and the homeless man did not show any abnormalities."

"He reported the incident to Qilin, who instructed him to find a way to steal a blue vaccine. Huang Xingchu risked his life and, while Serriek was escorting a prominent Hong Kong politician out, snuck into his clinic and stole a vaccine. He arrived at the Qilin Special Forces headquarters at 6:00 PM on the 11th."

At 7:30 p.m. on the 11th, Huang Xingchu suddenly fainted. Medical staff at headquarters examined him, and his temperature was 39.6 degrees Celsius. He also had muscle aches and difficulty breathing. After a day and a night of treatment, Huang Xingchu's temperature returned to normal, but he remained unconscious and in a light coma. At 4 a.m. on the 13th, Huang Xingchu's temperature soared to 41 degrees Celsius. He suffered respiratory failure and a deep coma, and was rushed to the intensive care unit. He is currently on a ventilator, but has not regained consciousness.

Hearing this, Qingshan's face turned pale. Luo Wenyuan saw that her expression was strange, so he gently held her hand and asked, "What's wrong?"

Qingshan shook his head, feeling cold all over, and held Luo Wenyuan's hand, which had a slightly higher body temperature, to draw warmth.

Qingshan said to Bai Hezheng with a serious expression, "Uncle Bai, I want to see all of Huang Xingchu's test results!"

Bai Hezheng nodded to the female secretary. The girl clicked a few buttons on the computer, and scanned images of more than twenty test receipts appeared in the air. The more Qingshan looked at them, the colder his heart became.
