Reuniting with My Ex-Boyfriend at a Wedding

A friend of Xu Yanfeng met an acquaintance at a hotel.

That acquaintance was none other than Xu Yanfeng's girlfriend from university, who was now a thing of the past.

The two greete...

Chapter 108 Report you for disrupting school order

When Xia Xi saw the summary of that night's events, he chuckled to himself, "Who wrote this summary? It definitely smells like Hong Kong media."

She had been back in the dormitory for more than ten minutes, but her body still hadn't warmed up. Zhao Lei took the phone from her hand and put it on the table, then pushed her shoulder towards the bathroom. "Don't think about it, don't look at it. Taking a hot shower is the most important thing! You've been in the cold wind for several hours wearing such thin clothes. Don't catch a cold."

Zhao Lei's words came true. Xia Xi sneezed loudly after entering the bathroom.

She blew her nose with a tissue and looked up at the light above her head: "What do you think Xu Yanfeng is doing now?"

Zhao Lei's forehead was boiling with anger when she heard the name "Xu Yanfeng". She slapped Xia Xi's head in frustration and said, "You're still thinking about him? He can do whatever he wants. I've never seen anyone as cruel as him. If he doesn't like you, just come over and explain everything. Why hide from him?"

Some words touched Xia Xi's sore spot. She suddenly covered her chest and bent over: "Ah, I can't take it anymore. I can't breathe."

Zhao Lei was horrified and quickly supported her with both hands: "Are you okay? Don't scare me!"

Wu Qinglu and Wang Qiuyu also rushed in upon hearing the noise.

Xia Xi lowered her hand from her heart, smiled at them, and stood up straight as if nothing had happened. "It's okay, it just hurt a little. I used to think 'heartache' was an emotion, but I didn't expect it to be a real physiological reaction."

Zhao Lei looked at her pretending to be strong, but she felt worse than she did. Her eyes were sore. "I must scold Xu Yanfeng a thousand times tonight. No, ten thousand times."

Xia Xi touched her face and smiled carelessly, "Don't be like this, we can't use moral kidnapping. I told him when I asked someone to bring him a message that it's his freedom to come or not."

She didn't want to put a knife to someone's neck and force him to submit.

Therefore, she was mentally prepared for such an ending. She was not particularly sad, but it was a little difficult to accept for the time being. She needed some time to calm down, and she would be fine in a few days.

Xia Xi took a shower, didn't think about anything, and went to sleep. After waking up, the first thought that rushed into her mind was, I really have a cold.

She sat up by supporting herself on the bed, feeling as if her head weighed a thousand pounds and her neck could not bear the weight.

Xia Xi rubbed his forehead, squinted his eyes, lifted the bed curtain and looked down. His three roommates had all gotten up and were busy packing their things.

Wang Qiuyu caught a glimpse of a head poking out from the gap in the upper bunk curtains and was startled: "Xixi, you're awake? We were all thinking that if you didn't get up, we'd shake the bed to wake you up. We're almost late, hurry up!"

Xia Xi dragged her sick body slowly out of bed, mechanically brushed her teeth, washed her face, changed her clothes, put her textbooks in her bag, and followed her roommate out the door. She had no idea what she was doing the whole time, relying entirely on her body's instincts.

The weather changed, the sky was gloomy, and the dark clouds rolled around as if they were going to eat people.

Walking on the road, Xia Xi could feel the gazes of others, filled with all kinds of emotions, which seemed different from how they looked at her before, but she didn't care. She held her head high and strode forward, leaving those people behind.

As long as she doesn't think she is a joke, no one can make a joke of her.

When going up the stairs to the cafeteria entrance, Xia Xi walked too fast and the tip of his shoe hit the edge of the stairs. He almost fell down. Fortunately, Wang Qiuyu, who was next to him, helped him up.

"Be careful."

Wang Qiuyu touched her skin briefly, but she could sense a noticeable temperature difference. She paused, then placed her palm against Xia Xi's forehead, carefully sensing it for a moment before comparing the temperature to her own forehead. "Xixi, do you have a fever?"

Xia Xi hadn't had time to put on makeup that morning, so she didn't look very well, looking sickly. She touched her forehead and couldn't deny it: "It's a little hot."

"It's not even a little hot!" Wang Qiuyu said, "Why don't you take a leave and rest in the dormitory? I feel it's about the same temperature as when I had a high fever before."

The other two also joined in the persuasion.

"Yes, health is important. It doesn't matter if you miss one or two classes. We will help you take notes."

"Hurry up and go to the infirmary. Take medicine if necessary and get IV drips if necessary. What if he gets worse if we delay?"

Xia Xi shook her head. It wasn't her style to ask for leave for a minor illness or pain. She patted her cheek, cheered herself up and said, "Let's talk about it after this morning's class. I'm in good health, so it's okay."

The breakfast window was crowded with people. Xia Xi had no appetite, so she bought a corn and two tea eggs at the nearest window and ate them while walking.

Suddenly, someone patted her shoulder from behind.

Xia Xi was startled. Turning around, she saw Su Yuanjia riding a bicycle, one leg propped up on the ground, one foot on the pedal, and breakfast hanging from the handlebars. He took one and handed it to her: "I bought this for you. Soy milk, xiaolongbao, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Take a look and see what you like."

"I bought breakfast." Xia Xi raised the corn in her hand.

"Is that all you're eating? I checked your schedule. You have classes all morning, and you can't have lunch until noon. How can you possibly handle eating so little?"

Su Yuanjia pulled the canvas bag off her shoulder without saying a word, put the breakfast in it, hooked the pedal with the instep of his foot, stepped on it and pushed hard, creating a gust of wind, and rode away in the blink of an eye.

“Hey, you…”

Xia Xi wanted to refuse, but it was too late. Looking up, she could only see the man with a hunched back pedaling frantically. He was wearing a loose dark grey sweatshirt and had a sports bag slung across his body. The wind blew his short hair all up, and a vibrant energy filled his face.

Sitting in the classroom, the gazes directed at Xia Xi became even more noticeable. Like X-rays, they shot towards her from all directions. If gazes could become physical, Xia Xi would have been pricked like a hedgehog.
