Soft and Cute Girlfriend Knocks on the Door

The first time Mo Xiaoqing saw Ji Muhan was in a coffee shop with a "superb atmosphere."

Those clear, bright eyes, tinged with a hint of allure, left a deep impression on her heart.

Chapter Fifty-Eight: This is indeed a bit tricky.

"Hanhan... I thought I would never see you again."

The little girl's usually soft, sweet voice sounded pitiful, and she held him tightly, as if afraid he would disappear.

Ji Muhan paused in his act of pushing her away, looking down at the girl who had buried her face in his chest.

The little girl's soft body pressed tightly against him, and he could even clearly feel her breathing.

Ji Muhan stiffened, her eyes suddenly turning deep. Her dazed thoughts were immediately pulled back to reality. Without a trace of pity, she reached out and separated herself from the woman.

"How did you end up here?" Ji Muhan's eyes flickered slightly, her clear and pleasant voice carrying a hint of barely perceptible suspicion.

This place is a hundred and eight thousand miles away from the capital, a ten-hour flight away. He didn't believe such a coincidence could exist in this world...

"I don't know either. I came here on vacation, but when I woke up I found myself in a wooden cabin, not the inn I was supposed to stay in. I sensed something was wrong, so I took the opportunity to escape." Seeing that Ji Muhan's panicked heart had calmed down, Mo Xiaoqing said.

When asked, he spilled everything without holding back a single word.

"Hmm." Ji Muhan responded indifferently.

It wasn't surprising that she managed to escape. Judging from the two moves she made when she sparred with him, she must have practiced for a few years. That would be enough to deal with those good-for-nothings who haven't had proper training.

Fortunately, they didn't encounter any other team members along the way, otherwise they would probably have been mistaken for militants and killed long ago.

"Hanhan, what are you doing here?" Mo Xiaoqing looked at him with her big, puzzled eyes, her gaze as beautiful as ever.

The little girl was still fearless; even after experiencing something like this, she still knew how to calmly and cautiously escape from there.

This was somewhat unexpected for him. He hadn't anticipated that someone who looked so young, delicate, and naive would have such a side.

Ji Muhan glanced at her indifferently, walked silently to a tree a little to the side, pressed a button next to her earpiece, and said calmly, "I am Northwest Wolf. Everyone report your location."

"I'm in the southeast direction. Greenland Wolf reporting." Mengzi.

"I'm in the northwest direction. North American Grey Wolf reporting." Liang Zi.

"I am due south. Report complete, Shen Honglang." Shen Shaolin.

"I am due east. Van Culver Wolf reporting." Qi Guang.

"I'm due west. Buffalo Wolf reporting." Kim Hee.

"Someone come here immediately," Ji Muhan ordered calmly.

"Hey, Captain, did you find something?" Shen Shaolin asked with a grin, in his usual tone.

"Support." Ji Muhan's eyes subconsciously glanced at the little girl not far away, and even in the darkness, her eyes shone brightly.

"?" Mengzi.

“?” Liangzi.

"?" Shen Shaolin.

"?" Qi Guang.

"?" Kim Hee.

A deathly silence fell. Everyone was stunned by Ji Muhan's words and remained speechless for a moment.

Ji Muhan, however, completely disregarded whether they were frightened or not.

"Captain, have we been ambushed?" Liang Zi finally asked after a long pause.

"Things are a bit tricky." Ji Muhan glanced indifferently at Mo Xiaoqing, who was still staring at him intently, and answered casually.

After saying that, he abruptly ended the conversation.

Even in the eerily quiet forest, Mo Xiaoqing would genuinely smile at Ji Muhan whenever she saw him.

Her smile was as pure and beautiful as ever, especially her eyes, which curved into crescent shapes when she smiled; even under these circumstances, she was still incredibly beautiful.

Ji Muhan strode up to her, but a voice in her mind said: This is no ordinary problem.

How could he possibly hear his captain calling for help in his lifetime? How dangerous must they have been?

They must have encountered some really difficult people, that even the captain, who's known as the King of Hell, had to ask for help one day. It's truly something I've never seen before.

However, Liangzi wasn't the only one with this idea.

Shen Shaolin raised an eyebrow. In order to find the hostage as soon as possible, the group split up. Now, everyone had only one thought: they really wanted to rush over and see what Ji Muhan meant by "tricky".

Just how tricky is it?

Of course, soldiers still have basic professional ethics. No matter how curious they are, they are not concerned about the consequences when they are on a mission.

Task first.

So after discussing it, the group decided that if something really happened to Ji Muhan and someone had to take charge of the operation, then Shen Shaolin, as the vice-captain, would be the obvious choice.

After weighing the options, they finally decided to send Liangzi to support Ji Muhan.

"Wait here for a moment, someone will be here shortly."

Mo Xiaoqing keenly grasped the key point in his words, staring at his handsome features with some panic, grabbing him to prevent him from leaving, "Where are you going?"

"Something came up," Ji Muhan replied, pulling her hand away and downplaying the issue.

But the little girl just stared at him longingly, without saying a word.

Although he couldn't remember her face, he always remembered that the little girl had beautiful and expressive eyes. Even the hardest heart couldn't help but soften when she looked at him like that.

He said, "Don't wander around. Someone will come to protect you later."

This was the gentlest he had ever spoken to Mo Xiaoqing in all the times she had ever met him.

But--

Ji Muhan turned to leave, only to find her sleeve being grabbed again.

"Hanhan, don't go, I'm scared." Mo Xiaoqing blinked, but her face didn't show any fear.

However, Ji Muhan knew that the girl wasn't lying to him this time.

The girl's soft, white breasts trembled slightly, indicating that she did not want to appear calm and composed; on the contrary, she was genuinely afraid.

Ji Muhan's gaze softened. "It's nothing."

His expression remained cold and indifferent, but she could see the subtle tenderness in his eyes.

In the blink of an eye, a hint of murderous intent flashed in Ji Muhan's eyes, and her brows furrowed slightly.

Mo Xiaoqing was very aware of the danger; she had already sensed it when Ji Muhan approached.

She reacted quickly, rushing forward and kicking the nearest armed man. The man also reacted quickly, nimbly dodging her attack.

Mo Xiaoqing reached out to grab his gun again, but the man quickly dodged it. Taking advantage of his movement, she kicked him directly in the stomach. Mo Xiaoqing was already in a tough spot, and seeing this, she pressed her advantage and tried to elbow him, but the man grabbed her hand.
