After learning that the blood test was normal, Ni Sitian finally felt relieved.

On the way back in a taxi, I received a call from Xu Tingchuan. He sounded very anxious: "Where are you?"

"I... I'm going out to buy something," Ni Sitian said quickly, afraid he would worry. "I'll be right back."

"Why didn't you call Xiao Zhang when you went out? Do you know how worried I was when I called home and no one answered?" Xu Tingchuan's tense nerves relaxed slightly as he scolded in a low voice.

Ni Sitian heard that the other end had hung up, so she put her phone back in her bag and looked around to see if there was anywhere she could sit.

"It's nothing." Xu Jiayue snapped out of her daze, shook her head, and quickly stuffed the paper bag into her bag, somewhat hurriedly saying, "I'm leaving now."

After Xu Jiayu finished speaking, he picked up his bag and quickly walked outside.

Ni Sitian originally wanted to chase after her, but when she saw that Xu Jiayue had left something behind, she bent down to pick it up first.

It was a photo of a baby, and Ni Sitian immediately recognized the adorable child wearing a watermelon hat as Xu Jiayue.

After picking up the photo, she looked towards the coffee shop entrance, but Xu Jiayue had already disappeared.

So she put the photos away and took out her phone to call Xu Jiayue, but no one answered after two calls.

Ni Sitian frowned slightly. Xu Jiayue had seemed strange just now. Could something have happened?

She waited patiently in the coffee shop, thinking that Jia Yue might realize she had lost something and come back to look for it.

A while later, Xu Tingchuan called to say that he had arrived at Dongxin Road.

She got up and walked out of the coffee shop, saw Xu Tingchuan's Maybach driving up, and quickly raised her hand to wave to him.
