"Wu Yu!" Joyce exclaimed in shock, hardly believing her eyes.

"Long time no see." Wu Yu greeted her calmly, and then unilaterally announced, "I have something to take care of now. Since you've been living well on your own this past year, you don't need to follow me anymore."

“For…” Joyce wanted to ask herself, but Violet, who was behind Wu Yu, interrupted her thoughts.

Joyce calmed down immediately, staring intently at the woman next to Wu Yu, and asked in a suppressed voice, "Is she the Violet you've been looking for?"

Wu Yu planned to fabricate a white lie to appease Joyce. Wu Yu knew that Joyce wanted revenge, but he didn't think she had any chance of winning.

Violet is currently in a state of complete apathy, and Wu Yu doesn't want Joyce to run over there and get herself killed.

“That’s right.” To his surprise, Violet answered first.

"Finally! I've finally waited for you, die!" Joyce was so excited she was almost maniacal. She suddenly crushed a crystal, completely disregarding the fact that her palm would bleed from the shards.

A terrifying surge of energy filled the surroundings, and Wu Yu felt as if everything in front of him had turned into a white blur.

An ambush! Wu Yu realized what he had encountered, but he didn't panic because Violet was standing right next to him like a pillar of strength.

An invisible barrier was erected by Violet, enveloping the three people present.
