“That’s right.” Jess nodded, then took the clothes off the hanger and put them on.

"What does she want from you? Could you tell me?" Wu Yu asked somewhat eagerly.

“Of course, this is not something that gods need to hide,” Jess replied. “She only did two things when she came here. She brought me a lot of materials to forge the artifact, saying it was the reward Jack had promised me. Then she told me that I would come to ask for her help one day and that I should not refuse.”

Hearing Jess's reply, Wu Yu felt a shiver run through his body, as if ice crystals were rising in his blood. Wu Yu turned around abruptly, only to find that there was only a curtain behind him.

"Even this was part of her plan?" Wu Yu gasped, never imagining he would be so transparent to someone.

"Since you knew I was coming, why were you so surprised when you saw me?" Wu Yu asked curiously.

“Because that happened ten years ago, and I’ve been busy building weapons all these years, I’ve completely forgotten about you,” Jess said irritably, not thinking there was anything wrong with his reaction.

"Tell me what you want from me. I'm not afraid to tell you, I was already prepared to refuse you. That girl actually said I couldn't refuse your request. That's ridiculous. You come to me for help, why can't I refuse?" Jess said arrogantly, arms crossed.

"I'm afraid you won't be able to escape her prediction this time." Wu Yu smiled wryly, then made his request, "I've come here with two things to discuss as well. Let me start with the one you won't refuse."

Wu Yu paused for a moment, then said seriously, "I originally planned to help you collect the materials for forging the divine artifact as agreed, but since Violet has already prepared the materials for me, I would like to ask you to help me forge a divine artifact."
