Many articles use "Midorikawa Hikaru" (光光, meaning "光" in Japanese), the voice actor's real name, as the pseudonym used during his undercover work. I personally think that "光" (ひかる) and "景光" (ひろみつ) are similar in pronunciation, and most importantly, their kanji characters are written the same. I personally think an undercover agent wouldn't choose such a careless pseudonym; the similarly-meaning "亮" (あきら) would be a more appropriate choice.

The surname part was chosen from the surname of another voice actor, Takehito Koyasu, who had a good relationship with Midorikawa Hikaru and had never played any role in Detective Conan.
