Chapter Thirteen: School Ghost Stories 13

After evening self-study, the crowd numbly headed to the dormitory. The moonlight was cold and dim. A shadowy figure crept through the alley and went straight to Xie Lin's office.

The figure kept glancing around, his heart pounding in his chest, fearing that something terrifying might jump out. He quickly closed the door to shut out the darkness.

Lu Cen opened Xie Lin's drawer. In the afternoon, he found a USB flash drive in the drawer. His intuition told him that this thing was useful. He awkwardly took it out and put it into the slot. After the computer read it, Lu Cen found that it contained a video.

The image was blurry and not clear, but you could make out the general shape. The camera shook for a while, and there was a lot of noise inside. It took a while before the figures appeared.

He was a very gloomy boy with long hair that covered his forehead, making him look a bit dull. He was very thin with sunken cheeks and an aura of decadence. He seemed to notice someone filming him, so he frowned and stared straight at the camera. Lu Cen felt like he was being stared at by a beast, his heart skipped a beat, and he took a step back.

Then, someone approached with a camera and began punching and kicking him. Countless hands and feet landed on his body, kicking and hitting him, but the boy's expression remained unchanged.

People laughed heartily, venting their frustrations on him.

After an unknown amount of time, the commotion subsided, replaced by even more humiliating abuse. The boy remained expressionless until he was pushed to the edge. Those people, not paying attention to the terrain, acted too aggressively, and one hand exerted too much force, causing the boy to plummet straight down like a bird with lost wings.

The camera shakiened a few times, moving from high to low, and the scene revealed a large amount of bright red blood spreading out from beneath him, staining the ground red, like a blood-red flower.

Lu Cen then realized that this person was Xiang Ming.

He didn't commit suicide; he was pushed!

Xiang Ming's eyes were wide open, his face contorted in death.

Not far from his body stood a person. Lu Cen recognized the face; it was Su Yi'an. His expression was indifferent, unlike his usual self. Lu Cen was shocked and suddenly remembered that Su Yi'an had once told him that Xiang Ming had committed suicide.

Why did he say that?

He didn't see that Xiang Ming was pushed down, so does that mean it was suicide?

Lu Cen felt that something was wrong.

Moreover, everyone says that these things are related to Xiang Ming.

Are they all really related to Xiang Ming?

As the video played to the end, the computer screen flickered with static and made a hissing sound.

Then the scene shifts, and Xiang Ming, who was already dead, suddenly moves. His blood-red eyes turn, and his body instantly springs up from the ground, walking in one direction.

Step by step, it seemed as if she was about to step out of the camera's view and come to Lu Cen's side.

Lu Cen's heart raced from the shock of the scene, his breath caught in his chest, and he felt a dull ache. His hands trembled as he struggled to turn off the computer, plunging the room into darkness.

He paused for a few seconds, just about to turn on the light.
