Huai'an Dream 12

Huai'an Dream 12

In mid-January, just after the Lantern Festival, Huo Weixi was sent to Anlou. He heard that Yuewan and Daqiang had formed an alliance to retake Anlou which had been taken away by the Yue State.

Before leaving, Huo Weixi repeatedly told Ruomei and the others to take good care of his wife.

Huang Yaya took his hand and placed it on her belly, which was not yet visible, and said, "If you hadn't come alive, I would have remarried immediately, let your child call someone else their father, and use your money to support another man."

"I will definitely come back alive, wait for me." Before leaving, Huo Weixi left a kiss on her forehead.

The heavy snow blocked the road and you were on a long journey, tears in your eyes and choking as you spoke of our farewell.

Watching his back disappear bit by bit, Huang Yaya was already in tears.

"Madam, let's go in." Ruomei supported her and said.

Huo Weixi was afraid that she would feel unwell, so he only asked her to be sent to the door of the Marquis' Mansion.

In February, a large number of refugees suddenly poured into the capital, many of whom were Da Qiang and Yuewan people. They disguised themselves among the refugees and burned, killed, looted and smashed things in the early morning. Many of the imperial guards were transferred to the imperial palace and the prince's mansion.

The Pingnan Marquis's mansion only had twenty or thirty guards, but the influx wasn't just of refugees; it also included dedicated assassins. The Yuewan people hated Huo Weixi's family immensely. Their spies in the capital had learned that Huo Weixi deeply cherished his wife, who was also pregnant. They paid a large sum to hire numerous assassins, their primary goal being to kill the Pingnan Marquis' wife.

There are two purposes: one is to let Huo Weixi experience what it means to have his family destroyed; the other is that if Huo Weixi on the front line knew about this, he might lose his composure, and then their chances of winning would be better.

The assassins were stronger than the guards in terms of numbers and their recklessness. Huang Yaya and Ruomei hid in a small tunnel, and Ruomei guaranteed that no one else could find it.

But it wasn't long before they were discovered. We were outnumbered and strong, while the enemy was strong!

Seeing that Ruolan and Ruozhu had been knocked unconscious, Huang Yaya desperately begged these people to let the others go and just go after her.

Is she not afraid? Of course she is, but she is the wife of the Marquis and enjoys top resources, so she must stand up no matter what happens!

One of the Yue Wan people taunted, "You can't escape alone. Who knows if you will replace the prince with a cat? All the women in the family will die."

Ruomei answered first: "I am the wife of the Marquis' Mansion. Please let them go. If you want to kill someone, kill me."

"I am the one. If you want to kill someone, kill me first." Huang Yaya said loudly.

"How interesting! Tell us where the gold, silver and treasures of the Marquis' Mansion are hidden."

"Ten thousand taels can buy you a complete corpse."

A long arrow whizzed straight towards one of the men's heads, and then another long arrow shot into the neck of the assassin who was holding Huang Yaya's shoulder. Along with the long arrow came a roar: "Your commander has been killed. If you want to live, lay down your weapons. Those who surrender will not be killed!"

The reason why a death warrior is called a death warrior is that he is not afraid of death. Seeing a man holding a knife about to chop Ruomei, Huang Yaya suddenly burst out with strength and pounced on Ruomei. It felt so painful. Will she die?

“Whoosh~whoosh~whoosh~”

"lady……."

"Leave no one behind..."

Huang Yaya opened her eyes. The caregiver beside her saw that she was awake and immediately rang the bell to call the attending doctor.

The pain in Huang Yaya’s back suddenly disappeared. It was such a long dream. Was it really a dream?

Why did she want to cry so much at this moment?

"How do you feel now?" the doctor asked.

"I feel like I had a very long dream." Huang Yaya murmured.

"You've been in a coma for over a year."

Upon learning that Huang Yaya had woken up, her mother rushed to the hospital immediately. She learned from her mother that she had been in a car accident last year and was immediately admitted to the ICU. The doctor said there was a high possibility that she would not be able to be saved. However, she was eventually saved, but she became a vegetable. It is unknown when she will wake up. It may take several years, or even a lifetime!

Huang's mother stood by her bed, clasped her hands together, and bowed to the sky, saying gratefully, "Thank you, God, Buddha, and heaven for your blessings."

After a series of examinations, it was found that there was nothing serious wrong with her and she was discharged from the hospital.

The school counselor arranged for her to take a leave of absence, so she can now go back to college and continue as a freshman. After two years of college, she is still a freshman!

Her mother told her that fortunately the person who hit her was a rich man, and the hospital treatment fees and accompanying care were all paid for by the other party, and the other party also compensated their family with a house in AA City.

Her mother had already put the house in her brother's name. Huang Yaya didn't know what to say. Her mother must have been genuinely happy when she saw her wake up, but the flesh on the palms and backs of her hands was different.

Huang Yaya's original mobile phone was no longer valid, so her mother bought her a new one.

She opened WeChat, which she hadn't used for a long time, and it was filled with messages from classmates.

She found that Shi Jiaojiao thanked her every day, and Liu Fangyu would sometimes send her a few messages to tell her what she had done that day.

So she must have had a very long dream! And now she was about to start the second half of her freshman year.
