Chapter 5: Things stained with human blood can become sentient!

Yan Ning said coldly, "I hit you because you're a servant. How dare you throw my things around? What rule says a servant can throw their master's things around?"

"So you're just relying on someone's power to try and intimidate me here!"

Aunt Chen was speechless for a moment, and said in a flustered manner, "No, no one taught me, it was all my own idea!"

Yan Ning narrowed her eyes, took a step closer, and said calmly:

"That's even better! You, a mere servant, dare to bully the young lady! Come on, let's go find Grandpa and settle this! Let's see if you're right or I'm right!"

Aunt Chen's eyes widened, she shook her head frantically, and stammered:

"No, don't go to the master! It was my fault, Miss, I shouldn't have thrown your things away! Please don't tell the master!"

Yan Ning sat down on the sofa and said calmly, "You don't have to tell Grandpa, but I'm going to set some rules for you today."

Aunt Chen asked somewhat fearfully, "What rules are there?"

Yan Ning raised an eyebrow and said, "From today onwards, no one may enter my room without my permission."

Aunt Chen's eyes widened, and she immediately nodded, "Okay, Miss, I understand."

Yan Ning waved her hand. "Go out now. Don't bother me unless it's absolutely necessary."

Aunt Chen nodded, carefully walked out of Yan Ning's room, and closed the door.

Yan Ning picked up the talisman from the ground, dusted it off, and put it back into her bag.

The woman's eyes widened. "Wow, this little girl is so amazing, so cool!"

The child rolled his eyes. "Tch, let's teach her a lesson tonight, show her what the natives are all about!"

Yan Ning raised her head, looked at her coldly, and said indifferently:

"You dealt with her, but not you?" The child and woman were horrified. "You, you can actually see us! That's impossible!"

"You talk too much nonsense."

Yan Ning was too lazy to say anything more, so she raised her hand and threw a talisman.

Before the woman and child could react, they were struck into the wall by the talisman.

They stormed out of the villa in an instant and could never get back in.

"Buzzing".

Just then, Yan Ning's phone rang.

Yan Ning only had Bai Yuzhen as a friend on her phone, so she knew without a doubt that the message was from her.

She opened it and, sure enough, Bai Yuzhen had sent a message:

"So, did Aunt Chen give you a hard time?"

Yan Ning tapped on the keyboard and replied, "She tried to bully me by taking advantage of her master's power, and threw my books at me. I've already chased her away, and she won't dare to come back again."

After replying to Bai Yuzhen, Yan Ning put down her phone and sat down at the vanity.

Before the family reunion, Bai Yuzhen specially dressed her up carefully.

She looked at herself in the mirror; her eyes were big and bright, her nose was delicate, and her lips were rosy.

Although her face isn't stunningly beautiful, her eyes and brows are very clear and pleasant to look at.

At that moment, the water glass next to Yan Ning suddenly fell over and rolled to the ground.

She reached out and took the water glass, but suddenly a burst of laughter came from behind her:

"Hehe, you've become so beautiful, sister!"

Do you remember me?

Yan Ning turned around and her gaze fell on a strangely shaped small stone on the ground.

The stone has a grayish-brown surface with dark gold veins, and from a distance it looks like a piece of amber.

Is this also from her bag?

The little stone moved, and a small face appeared on it, uttering a clear voice:

"Sister, do you still remember me?"

Yan Ning did not answer, but raised her hand and picked up a talisman, preparing to slap it onto the stone.

"Ah! Don't kill me! My sister saved me, remember!"

The little stone flinched back in fear and cried out in panic.

Yan Ning paused, her voice sharp, "When did I ever save you?"

A childlike smiling face appeared on the small stone. "Do you remember five years ago, when you and Daoist Xuanqing went up the mountain to collect herbs, and your finger was accidentally cut by a tree branch, and a drop of blood dripped onto a stone? I am that small stone!"

Yan Ning frowned, recalling the time she and her master went up the mountain and a drop of blood from her fingertip landed on a small stone.

Her master said that anything stained with human blood would become a spirit and could not be kept. He told her to smash the stone and throw it away. Yan Ning looked at the beautiful patterns on the stone and felt a little reluctant, so she secretly buried it under a tree.

She hesitated for a moment, then asked in a cold voice, "So what were you planning to do by secretly coming down the mountain with me?"

The little stone flew up and landed in front of Yan Ning. It smiled and replied:

“I’ve come to repay your kindness, sister. The first thing I did after I gained spiritual awareness was to find you, but the Taoist temple was taken over by a group of bad people, and you were driven away.”

"I ran and ran, for a long time, and then I saw you sitting under a big tree, so I sneaked into your bag!"

Yan Ning put down the talisman in her hand, her tone softening slightly, "You shouldn't have followed me. Go back. The foot of the mountain is not a place for you."

Little Stone pouted and tried to persuade her, "Sister, don't rush to send me away! I don't like the Su family. Although my magic power is not high, I can still help you."

Yan Ning narrowed her eyes. "How can you help me?"

Little Stone did a somersault in the air, pouted, and strained his whole face.

Then, the cup on the coffee table wobbled and flew into the air, then flew to Yan Ning's front.

Yan Ning took the teacup, and Xiao Shitou said excitedly, "Sister, look, I can take things from a distance. If you want to secretly take something in the future, you can ask me for help."

Yan Ning thought that since she was all alone, she would inevitably be negligent in dealing with this large family.
