Chen Yu took out her phone; it was only 8:38 PM, and the room was as dark as midnight.

A rumble of thunder sounded outside the window. Shen Yan had planned to study more tonight, but now it seemed his plans were ruined. He sat on the bed looking out the window, where the tree branches creaked in the wind, sounding rather eerie.

[Yang: Have you guys heard? That girl from the next class jumped off a building!]
