Jiang Tingchen had just returned to the apartment when his cell phone rang.

"Master, the old man asked you to bring Miss Ning to the family dinner tomorrow."

The butler's respectful voice came from the other end of the phone.

Jiang Tingchen's grip on the phone tightened slightly: "Grandpa said that himself?"

"Yes, the old man specifically instructed that Miss Ning must be invited."

After hanging up the phone, Jiang Tingchen stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the night outside.

He knew that this was a test from his grandfather for Ning Nanxue.

The next morning, Jiang Tingchen came to Ning Nanxue's office.

"Xue'er, I have something to tell you."

Ning Nanxue looked up and saw Jiang Tingchen's serious expression. She put down the documents in her hand and asked, "What's wrong?"

"Grandpa wants to invite you to the family dinner tomorrow."

Ning Nanxue's fingers trembled slightly: "Family dinner?"

"Yes." Jiang Tingchen held her hand, "Grandpa wants to see you."

Ning Nanxue was silent for a moment: "Tingchen, I..."

"Don't worry." Jiang Tingchen comforted softly, "I'm here."

Ning Nanxue took a deep breath: "Okay, I'll go."

A trace of heartache flashed in Jiang Tingchen's eyes: "Xue'er, if you don't want to go..."

"No, I want to go." Ning Nanxue interrupted him, "For our future, I must go."

Jiang Tingchen held her in his arms: "Thank you, Xue'er."

Ning Nanxue leaned on his chest: "Tingchen, your family..."

"Don't think too much." Jiang Tingchen stroked her hair gently. "Since Grandpa took the initiative to invite you, it means that he has begun to accept you."

Ning Nanxue nodded, but still felt a little uneasy.

She knew that a wealthy family like the Jiang family must have very high requirements for their daughter-in-law.

Ning Nanxue leaned in his arms: "Tingchen, it's great to have you around."

Jiang Tingchen tightened his arms: "I'll pick you up tomorrow."

Ning Nanxue closed her eyes and felt his warmth.

She knew that tomorrow's family dinner would be a test.

But she was ready.

For Jiang Tingchen and their future, she must face it bravely.

Jiang Tingchen looked at Ning Nanxue in his arms, feeling both anticipation and worry.

He expected Ning Nanxue to be recognized by her family, but was also worried that she would be bullied.

Ning Nanxue looked up and met his affectionate gaze: "Tingchen, I love you too."

The two smiled at each other, their eyes full of anticipation for the future.

In a villa in the suburbs, a sharp female voice broke the silence.

"Jiang Tingchen is bringing his girlfriend home for a family dinner?" She repeated the housekeeper's words, with a barely perceptible tremor in her voice.

"Yes, Miss Su. The old man specifically instructed that Miss Ning must be invited."

Su Yao put down the wine glass, her face turned pale in an instant: "Ning Nanxue?"

"Yes, it's Mr. Ning from the Fu Group."

Su Yao sneered: "Fu Group? Is it the company that almost went bankrupt?"

The housekeeper was silent for a moment: "Miss Su, President Ning's recent performance has been outstanding, and the old man is very satisfied with her."

"Satisfied?" Su Yao turned around, a hint of gloom flashed in her eyes, "Tingchen gave up Huayun for her, and now he wants to take her home?"

She picked up her phone and dialed a number: "Please help me find out the specific time of the Jiang family's family dinner tomorrow."

"I'm going." Su Yao put down her phone, a hint of determination flashed in her eyes, "Tingchen is mine, no one can take him away."

The butler hesitated to speak, and finally just sighed.

The next morning, Su Yao came to the Jiang family's old house.

"Miss Su?" The Jiang family's servant was a little surprised when he saw Su Yao. "Why are you here?"
