The tube also generates intense heat the moment the gunpowder is fired.

Li Ze's hand, which had just touched the tube, was instantly burned. He immediately pulled back in pain and jumped up, yelling loudly.

Jian Zhizhen breathed a sigh of relief when she saw that he had only blisters on two fingers and was otherwise unharmed.

As soon as someone expressed doubt, Jian Zhizhen dispelled the doubt: "We don't have any real gunpowder here. What we use are fertilizers that I smuggled from the vegetable base of the food factory, so the lethality is actually average. You still have to be careful."

The audience member just asked again:

[Isn't that ridiculous? Fertilizer can explode?]

Zhou Sui is an author who simultaneously uses four or five pseudonyms and writes four or five books. One of his pseudonyms happens to be writing a crime-solving novel about a domineering CEO.

Jian Zhizhen replied, "There is ammonium nitrate in the fertilizer. Qin Yubai and I got up at dawn to sift it and then crystallized and purified it, but we didn't have enough time and the purification wasn't very pure."

That audience member:

[That's ridiculous! Don't think I'm uneducated. Ammonium nitrate requires impact or heating to explode; it won't explode if only infrared light can detect it from a distance.]

Chien Chih-chen added, "I removed the infrared sensor from the mouse-killing robot and installed it on the system. Once the infrared light is detected, the motor in the tube will trigger the small hammer, causing a rapid gravity impact that triggers a remote explosion."

That audience member:

That's ridiculous...

[Stop talking nonsense, you're getting slapped in the face again and again. I feel embarrassed for you. Anyway, they have a way.]

[Exactly! Don't disturb my class! Ms. Jian, please say more, I have a chemistry exam tomorrow!]

Seeing that everyone seemed to understand the safety and dangers of these things, Jian Zhizhen stopped talking.

She walked up to Lin Yi and handed him the remote control.

"Director Lin, you can de-defense by pressing the button. If you run out of food and water in the base, you will need to go out to buy more. You can de-defense to go out."
