Fang Qiao died saving someone. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself reborn in the 1970s, a time of scarcity where everything required coupons.
Although there was a lack of food a...
“It can’t be that fast. My An’an is only a few months old.” Fang Qiao said firmly.
"Of course I did! I conceived my third child when my second was 100 days old. Just be careful and don't take it lightly." Chen Guizhi asked, "After you gave birth to An'an, did you have your period?"
Fang Qiao shook her head: "Not yet."
"Don't be careless even if you haven't been here before. There are plenty of cases where the child who didn't come actually did," Chen Guizhi cautioned.
Fang Qiao initially thought it was impossible, but now, after hearing what Chen Guizhi said, she began to have doubts.
Better safe than sorry, so he nodded and said, "I understand, I'll be careful."
After chatting for a while, a sweet crying sound suddenly came from outside.
With tears streaming down her face, Qian Xiaowu pulled her in from outside. When she saw Fang Qiao, she immediately ran towards her and hugged her leg: "Auntie, Auntie, come with me quickly! Auntie is fighting with someone outside the family compound!"
"What happened?"
She was sobbing uncontrollably. Fang Qiao didn't have time to ask any more questions and immediately stood up from the bench with An'an in her arms: "Never mind, let's talk as we walk. Take me there quickly."
Sweetie immediately ran out to lead the way: "Auntie, this way."
Fang Qiao followed.
Chen Guizhi also pulled Qian Xiaowu and hurriedly chased after them.
At the entrance of the family compound, Xiao Jing's hair was disheveled, her body was covered in mud, and she looked extremely disheveled, but her gaze toward Sun Shuyi was fierce.
Sun Shuyi's situation was no better than Xiao Jing's, and perhaps even worse.
After all, she was a pampered young lady from the city, spoiled since childhood. If her family hadn't fallen on hard times later, she wouldn't even know how to cook, let alone fight.
She had never done anything like this in the previous twenty years.
Although Xiaojing is introverted and shy, she grew up in the countryside. Because she didn't have a father when she was young, she was often beaten by other children. She was exposed to fighting from a young age and knew how to fight without leaving a mark but still hurt the most.
Slapping someone's face, scratching them, or pulling their hair is not allowed; it will leave marks and make you seem like you're being too rough, and you'll get scolded if your parents find out.
You have to pinch the soft flesh on your body; it hurts a lot but leaves no marks, so even if the other party complains to your home, they won't be able to find any evidence.
So even though Sun Shuyi's clothes were neat and her hair wasn't messy, Xiao Jing had pinched her quite hard.
Sun Shuyi's chest heaved violently with anger. Seeing Xiao Jing's fierce gaze, she felt pain all over her body from being pinched, and her anger flared up even more.
Who the hell said Fang Qiao's sister-in-law is a doughy person?
So fierce? And it's dough?
The dough was made with chili peppers, right?
She gritted her teeth: "What are you glaring at me for?"
"I'm glaring at you!"
Xiao Jing rarely experienced such situations, and her nervousness made her stutter a little when she spoke. However, she refused to back down, straightened her back, and glared at Sun Shuyi with an even fiercer look: "You dare to slander my sister-in-law, I'll tear your mouth apart!"
“Tear it! I’m standing right here, try tearing it!” Sun Shuyi provoked, making Xiao Jing so angry that she wanted to go up and hit her again.
As soon as Xiao Jing moved, two women familiar with Sun Shuyi grabbed her arms, one on each side: "Let's talk this out, don't hit us!"
"You little girl, you're not that old, but you have quite a temper."
The two women were clearly taking sides, and Xiao Jing's eyes reddened with anger: "She slandered my sister-in-law first! My sister-in-law didn't hit the child!"
"How can that be called slander? Besides, if Fang Qiao didn't hit the child, what's wrong with people saying a few words about it?"
"That's right, it's just a few idle words, how could you resort to violence!"
Sun Shuyi said smugly, "That's right. If Fang Qiao really didn't hit the child, why is she so afraid of what others say about her? Besides, I'm exposing her for your own good. With a sister-in-law who hits children, do you think you can have a peaceful life at home? And yet you still side with her. You're such a clueless sister-in-law!"
Xiaojing retorted, "My sister-in-law didn't do it! You're slandering her!"
"You think I'm slandering you just like that? Do you have any evidence?"
Xiaojing questioned, "When you slandered my sister-in-law, did you have any evidence?"
“I saw it with my own eyes, that’s the evidence,” Sun Shuyi said firmly.
"You're lying!" Xiaojing didn't believe her at all!
Whether Fang Qiao had abortion or not, how could she not know if she lived at home?
“I’m not lying, I’m telling the truth. Fang Qiao did hit the child! I saw it with my own eyes. She abuses children and is not a good person!” Sun Shuyi said with absolute certainty.
If Xiaojing hadn't lived at home and been absolutely certain that Fang Qiao had never hit or scolded the child, she would have been completely fooled.
When Fang Qiao arrived, she overheard these words and almost laughed out of anger at Sun Shuyi.
"You say you saw me hit the child with your own eyes. Please tell me, what was the date, time, and location when you saw me hit the child? Are there any other witnesses?"
Sun Shuyi was surprised that Fang Qiao arrived so quickly, and her expression showed a moment of panic.
However, she had already thought of a solution and quickly calmed down, lying without changing her expression: "Just this morning around ten o'clock, I passed by your house and saw you beating your niece who was staying at your house! You didn't want to raise that child, and you were beating her while cursing her as a burden."
Sun Shuyi provided all the details, including the time and place, and even found a reason for Fang Qiao to hit her.
Seeing her confident expression, many of the onlookers were fooled and began to murmur amongst themselves.
"She's so certain, it must be true, right?"
"That girl named Tiantian, I think she's her niece, she calls her Jinjin, so she's her aunt?"
