Yun Zhe sat at the back of the carriage, while Ellie stood not far away.

"Want to travel together? Sure, but first tell me how you manage to stand under the sun?" Yun Zhe looked directly into Ellie's eyes and asked casually.

Ellie's eyes suddenly glazed over, and the monotonous, mechanical female voice sounded again, "The vampire who transformed me gave me a ring that allows me to walk in the sunlight." After speaking, Ellie came to her senses and took half a step back.

Yun Zhe nodded thoughtfully, about to ask another question, when he suddenly noticed that Ellie had turned her face away, not looking directly at him. Ellie's behavior made Yun Zhe a little uncomfortable, as if he were being looked down upon, and he couldn't help but have some doubts about her answer. However, he quickly remembered the bloodline suppression and suppressed his doubts.

Yun Zhe stared at Ellie, who felt very uncomfortable being stared at. She turned her head to the other side, avoiding eye contact with Yun Zhe.

Yun Zhe seemed to have figured something out. "I won't look you in the eye. Tell me, where does the vampire who transformed you live? I think he must have more than one ring."

"That's great! He really cares about this. It wasn't for nothing that I stood in the sun all this time," Ellie thought to herself. She glanced up and saw Yun Zhe looking directly at her, then quickly turned away. "Okay, but you have to promise me one thing."

"You say it," Yun Zhe heard the clear and bright voice, which was much more pleasant to hear than the monotonous and dull voice before, and he couldn't help but feel happy.

"You help me kill him," Ellie said, enunciating each word clearly, then glanced at Yun Zhe. Unfortunately, their eyes met, just as Yun Zhe was about to ask his question.

"What grudge could you possibly have that you had to kill? Why not just tie him up and rob him?"

Ellie's eyes were unfocused, but she didn't speak. Large tears kept welling up in her eyes, but she still didn't say a word.

When Yun Zhe saw the girl's tear-streaked face, he panicked immediately. He thought to himself, "Could this be the result of someone deeply in love? The so-called 'if you can't have it, destroy it' scenario. This kind of drama often appears in that diary, especially when the author describes his love and hate with his family." With this thought in mind, Yun Zhe quickly waved his hand, "Alright, alright, I agree. If you don't want to talk about it, then don't. Everyone has been hurt in love before."

Upon hearing this, Yun Zhe couldn't help but feel secretly guilty. Ninety percent of the heartbreak he had suffered was because his crushes had found boyfriends... He had never experienced any earth-shattering, tear-jerking, passionate love.

But the injury was real, Yun Zhe comforted himself inwardly, but he could feel an uncontrollable mockery deep inside him.

Ellie's eyesight returned, and she was very surprised to see that she had actually cried. She hurriedly wiped away her tears.

"You don't know what I asked you?" Yun Zhe noticed all the changes in Ellie's demeanor and asked again out of curiosity.

Ellie nodded, then shook her head. "I know what you asked, but I forgot what you asked after I asked it."

Yun Zhe couldn't help but chuckle mischievously, then quickly suppressed his gossipy nature.

Ellie saw this and couldn't help but take another step back.

"Ah, I agree to help you kill him. Tell me where he is." Yun Zhe realized that his earlier lapse in composure had left a bad impression on the girl, and hurriedly tried to make amends.

"You swear."

Helpless, Yun Zhe raised one hand to the sky and said, "I swear, if I break this oath, may I be struck by lightning."

Upon hearing this, Ellie's eyes darted around, a smug look on her face. "He's thousands of miles away. At your speed..." Ellie glanced at Yun Zhe, who was hiding in the shade, "it'll probably take you years to get there..."

Yun Zhe was annoyed. Was he being mocked? But if I walk slowly, you'll be slower at killing him too. So what's with that expression? Yun Zhe was indeed puzzled and felt anxious. If only vampires could know each other's thoughts.

Seeing Yun Zhe's change in expression, Ellie dropped her smug look. "Were you lying in the coffin for a long time and just came out?"

Yun Zhe was taken aback. Of course, he couldn't say that he had transmigrated from another world. He had some guesses about how he had transmigrated into this body. One of them was that this body had been sleeping for too long and had died, which was why he had possessed it.

Yun Zhe nodded cautiously. He couldn't quite figure out the girl in front of him, so he put away his previous nonchalant attitude and began to take her seriously.

Ellie didn't look at him, but out of the corner of her eye, she saw him nod, and thought to herself, "Just as I thought." After taking Alice home last night, she had been pondering the vampire's matter repeatedly, gradually forming several ideas. That's why she had taken leave early this morning and hurried over. When she arrived, she indeed found him hiding in a shaded spot reading a book, confirming one of her ideas and exciting her.

Her original intention was to take advantage of his desire for the Sun Ring to get revenge for her. Although he stopped her twice due to her carelessness, things seemed to be going in her favor.

"Magical objects that allow vampires to walk in sunlight appeared about a hundred years ago, and are now quite common," Ellie explained confidently. Then she asked, "You didn't know?"

"Don't you know?" Yun Zhe also asked his own body, but his mind remained unmoved. Yun Zhe nodded, which was taken as his tacit agreement.

"What year is it now?" Yun Zhe raised his eyes and stared at Ellie.

Ellie quickly turned her head, thinking, "Trying to ambush me again? Heh."

"About fifty years ago, the people in the church deduced a new calendar that could supposedly be extended back five thousand years and forward five thousand years. To thank their God for giving them this calendar, they named it the Oracle Calendar. This year is Oracle Calendar Year 51 and Imperial Calendar Year 67."

What year is the 13th year of the Aimon Empire?

It was probably around 500 years before the Oracle.
