He was once a top-tier assassin, an existence that even international police feared. Now, he's the small owner of a dry-cleaning shop.
To take care of his younger brother and sister, whom...
After Li Jia swiftly and stealthily dispatched the other two groups, the guards around the villa had completely vanished. Li Jia's black figure, as agile as a cat, appeared and disappeared as she moved to the side of the villa. She then climbed up the villa's outer wall like a tiger.
The small villa had only two floors. On the balcony outside the living room on the second floor, Li Jia stood motionless behind the window. Inside the living room, several people were sitting on the sofa, talking quietly amidst the swirling smoke.
"We must find a way to get our hands on that pasture. Do you understand what I mean?"
"Hai! Don't worry, Ichiro-kun, we've already spread the word. We're saying there are Mongolian totems there, to stir up discord within their country. We'll take this opportunity to send a team of agents there to investigate everything. Then..."
"Intruder?" Li Jia's attention was entirely focused on the villa. Just as he was listening intently, shouts came from outside the villa. Clearly, the bodies of the guards he had removed had been discovered. Li Jia had obtained what he wanted, and there was no need to linger any longer. Most importantly, it was almost dawn, and if he didn't leave soon, he wouldn't be able to escape unscathed. Even Li Jia, no matter how skilled, couldn't fight off dozens of charging soldiers head-on.
She turned and jumped off the villa's balcony, leaving during the darkest time before dawn. Before leaving, she set off a fire to create a little chaos. When Li Jia returned to the hotel, it was just getting light. She went to the bathroom to change her clothes and cleaned her face before returning to the hotel in her pajamas.
Ida Naoko was still sleeping soundly. Li Jia reached out and gently pressed on the vein near her ear, then looked at the sleeping beauty who was slowly waking up with a smile. "Good morning, how did you sleep?"
"Good morning. This feels so good, I didn't realize. You're really amazing. If you weren't just a tourist, I'd almost want to be with you every day, hehehe." Ida Naoko said, getting up and gently kissing Li Jia on the cheek. Then she grabbed a nightgown from the side, draped it over herself, and went into the bathroom. Li Jia, meanwhile, comfortably adjusted her position, leaning back and staring at the bathroom door with a faint smile on her face.
"I have to go out for a bit today, so I can't keep you company during the day. Go out and wander around by yourself; there are lots of girls on the beach, and with your skills, they'll fall for you. Hehe." After saying this, Ida Naoko put on her bikini in front of Li Jia, then opened the door and left, leaving Li Jia leaning against the wall, quietly thinking about what she had heard yesterday…
The phone rang in the room. Li Jia answered, her brows furrowing slightly. "Okay. I'll be right down." She finished speaking, put on the clothes she had worn when she arrived, and walked out of the hotel. At the hotel entrance, Riko was waiting for him anxiously. "Kin Quan-kun, hurry and get out of here with me! It'll be too late if we're late!"
After speaking, Li Zi grabbed Li Jia's hand and hurriedly left the hotel entrance. Less than a minute later, several military vehicles carrying dozens of armed men roared to the hotel entrance, talking amongst themselves. Some remained outside, while others, fully armed, entered the hotel.
Li Jia watched the scene in front of the hotel from a distance. She glanced at Li Zi, and then the two of them quickly left the vicinity of the hotel.
