The Walking Dead: Transmigrated

The world is a piece of dog shit, but luckily you are by my side.

I woke up and went from being Chinese in China to being Chinese in America.

Oh well, being Chinese is fine.

Chapter 41

Chapter 41

Good morning!

"Good morning—" Lina yawned lazily. "What are your plans for today?" Lina asked as she ate the plate from Amy's hand.

"The usual?" Carol said, handing Lina a plate of grilled meat.

"Good morning, Dr. S."

"Good morning, Daryl—"

"Good morning, Daryl—"

Lina, who was eating, froze, awkwardly holding the plate, unsure of where to go.

Carol smiled at Lina. Daryl calmly walked over, picked up the food in front of Carol, took a bite, and said, "It smells good."

“Remember, we liked you first,” Carol teased.

“Stop,” Daryl said speechlessly after taking a bite. “Rick brought back a lot of people too.” He then glanced at Lina beside him; she was one of them.

“Not recently, but Lina has brought quite a few people back.” Carol looked at Daryl with a smile in her eyes.

Daryl pursed his lips and remained silent.

"I'm done eating, thank you, Carol, thank you, Amy." Lina put down the plate and ran away as if she were being chased by a ghost.

Amy picked up the plate, rolled her eyes at Daryl, and called out to Lena, "Hey! Come find me in my room later!"

Ignoring Daryl, Amy took her things to tidy up, while Carol continued chatting with Daryl. Lina glanced at Daryl from afar, then left dejectedly.

Their current situation can be considered a breakup.

Anyway, it's been a long time since we last spoke.

Lina kicked away a pebble in frustration. Daryl was leading the team that afternoon, so she wasn't going.

It's said that Daryl took the initiative to do it, and the two of them haven't spoken to each other since that night, let alone cooperated.

"WOW, WOW, WOW, our suicidal little girl is unhappy again?" Moore walked over with a wicked grin. Daryl had finally, finally, finally gotten rid of this little girl. He was so happy he wanted to go get a couple of strings of Chinese firecrackers to set off.

"Shut up and get out of the way." Lina rolled her eyes. That old man, he was always the happiest.

Mohr snorted coldly. If it weren't for Daryl, he wouldn't bother with Lina at all.

“Hey, I have something to do this afternoon,” Moore said, raising an eyebrow at Lina.

"What could you possibly want?" Lina said dismissively. He had something to do this afternoon? Did she really think...?

"I happen to be free, so I'll generously cover your shift. You're welcome," Lina said cheerfully, then rushed into the house to pack her gear.

Mohr scoffed, "You brat."

"Where's Lina?" Amy handed a bag of food to Moore. Weren't those two just talking here?

“Someone can’t wait,” Moore said.

“Who’s in a hurry?” Amy glared at Moore.

Moore slowed down his eating, as if he had realized something. He thought for a moment, then changed his tone, leaned closer to Amy, lowered his head slightly, and said in a low voice, "Of course it's me, baby."

Amy kicked Moore's shin, snorted, and ran back into the house.

Of course, Moore didn't overlook someone insignificantly, ["A moment later, the watchtower."]

Sure enough, doing good deeds brings good fortune. Mo Er smugly finished his food in a few bites.

Amy, who was running in, bumped right into Lina, who was rushing out.

"What's wrong?" Amy asked, grabbing Lina's arm.

"Um, it's just filling in for Moore at work," Lina said obediently.

Replace Morley? Go to work? Amy thought for a moment, "Don't you have any self-respect?" Amy poked Lina's forehead in annoyance, "He dares to ignore you, can't you find someone else? Daryl is already an old man! I'll introduce you to someone younger! Among the people who have come recently, there's a really handsome one! Only twenty-two years old..."

Lina's eyes darted around, but she didn't respond.

Amy grabbed Lina's face in anger and pinched it roughly, "You're just trying to make me angry."

Lina smiled ingratiatingly, "I'm going to be late—"

Amy angrily released Lina, "I'm serious, men who use passive-aggressive tactics are no good!"

Lina was too embarrassed to mention that Daryl had been ignored by her several times.

Lina awkwardly touched the tip of her nose, then darted away. Amy behind her was furious, but there was nothing she could do about it.

When Lina arrived at the departure point, Sasha glanced at her, seemed to understand something, smiled meaningfully, and then gestured for her to sit down. "There are no seats left on the bus," Sasha said seriously.

“Um…” Lina looked at Sasha uncertainly.

Sasha nodded.

Lina's eyes lit up, and she naturally moved closer to Daryl's motorcycle while carrying her bag.

“Um…” Lina began cautiously, but Daryl didn’t respond at all. He was looking at the motorcycle, fiddling with the mirror on it.

Lina started to get angry again, but she knew it wasn't the right time, and ultimately it was her fault, so she didn't dare to lose her temper. She just pouted, feeling wronged.

“Hey! You can sit in my seat, I’m just chatting with Daryl.” Zach walked over happily and patted Lina on the shoulder.

Lina and Daryl both paused and looked at Zach.

Zack laughed heartily and gestured for Lina to hurry up and get in the car.

Lina glanced at Zack speechlessly, then looked at Daryl, her eyes full of grievance.

Seeing the angry Lina, Daryl immediately looked away and remained silent.

Lina stomped her foot in anger, turned around, and got into the car.

The motorcycle led the way, followed by the car. Sasha glanced at Lina teasingly, "Someone failed again, huh?"

“No, not again!” Bob looked at Sasha and Lina blankly, not knowing what they were talking about.

Knowing the truth, Tersey simply smiled and remained silent.

Those who came after them didn't know that Lina and Daryl were a couple. To be honest, few people would make that connection just from their appearances, especially since the two of them hardly ever spoke to each other.

If you say they broke up, Daryl won't admit it; if you say they didn't break up, Lena says they did.

The two argued for several months. It wasn't that no one tried to persuade them, but Herschel eventually advised everyone to let things take their course. Thus, the trend of trying to reunite the young couple ended before it became a widespread phenomenon.

Lina pouted angrily, refusing to look at anyone, and just stared out the window without saying a word.

Why not sit in the next car? It's simpler: Glenn's angry too!

It's really terrible; these men are all incredibly difficult to appease.

After driving for a short while, the car stopped. Lina looked ahead and saw Rick talking to Daryl.

Lina slowly slid down, trying to hide herself.

Rick glanced out the car window and then looked away, asking Daryl, "Are you alright?"

“No, no,” Daryl said after a pause when he saw Rick’s gaze.

"Are you hurt, Daryl?" Zach asked, puzzled.

"No, sit tight." Daryl twisted the motorcycle and speechlessly carried the clueless young man away.

Lena only breathed a sigh of relief after leaving the prison. There were quite a few zombies tied up outside the fence. Although the rotting zombies really affected the surrounding air quality, they helped to cover up the presence of the living. There was no large-scale zombie horde outside the prison.

But according to Daryl's information, the walkers are gathering in the surrounding area and will probably start migrating again. It's hard to say whether they will head towards the prison, since there are too many of them now.

Upon arriving at their destination, Lina looked around at the surroundings. Sasha and the others had made preparations beforehand, so now all she had to do was carefully go inside and head to the warehouse.

The journey to the warehouse went smoothly. Lina looked around and decided to scout ahead. She remembered that the group of walkers was on the roof of the warehouse.

"Hey, can you stop running around like that?" Glenn grabbed Lina, his tone very serious.

"I wasn't wandering around, I was just on normal patrol," Lina said unhappily.

“This isn’t your job, you should stay,” Glenn said, glaring at Lina.

Lina glared at Glenn angrily, "You don't understand."

“Yes, all I know is that you didn’t follow instructions. Teamwork, you know?” Glenn said angrily. “When are you going to finally internalize the idea that we are a team?”

“Shut up,” Sasha snapped as she walked over. “Glenn,” she said, giving Glenn a threatening look.

Glenn angrily grabbed his gun and left. Sasha looked at Lina helplessly. Lina angrily kicked at the pebbles at her feet. She was a nearly adult who could take responsibility for her actions. How long were they going to stay angry about that? She wasn't hurt!

Besides, wasn't Michonne searching for the Governor herself? Why is it unforgivable when this happens to her?

Sasha patted Lina on the shoulder reassuringly, "Let's go."

Lina looked at Sasha in surprise. Sasha smiled and said, "I'm also in charge this time." Daryl glanced at them from afar without saying a word. Lina happily followed Sasha for a walk around the area.

The location of the helicopter is very obvious.

"Sasha, look, the ground looks like it's about to collapse." Lina knew what was going to happen, but she couldn't say it directly, so she could only point it out to Sasha as a warning.

“The warehouse is down below,” Sasha frowned. “We need to act quickly. Since it hasn’t collapsed yet, it should still hold up.”

“I’ll go and get rid of the walkers,” Lina said.

“No, what if the ground collapses? You'd better not wander off.” Sasha grabbed Lina’s arm.

“No, I’m lighter. They’re all fine. Besides, if it collapses while we’re moving things, that would be a problem. They can’t wander around here,” Lina insisted.

“Alright, I’ll cover you,” Sasha said, seeing Lina’s insistence and agreeing with her reasoning, so she had no choice but to let Lina go.

Lina was already extremely skilled at clearing out the walkers. The ground beneath her feet was terribly soft, so Lina didn't dare to exert any force. She simply whistled from a distance to lead the walkers away from the helicopter.

There was no need to fire unless it was absolutely necessary. Lina waited for the walker to approach her, almost growing impatient. When it was close enough, Lina raised her knife and began to slice the watermelon.

Too slow. Lina walked forward impatiently, killing most of the wandering zombies around her. Then she started to retreat. There were still some zombies at the other end of the helicopter that hadn't been lured over, but it was difficult to get past there.

As she retreated, Lina tripped over a zombie corpse, stepped into a hole, and got her foot stuck.

Fortunately, it was just a small hole. Lina carefully pulled her leg out, afraid that the surrounding area would collapse as well.

Sasha, watching Lina's careful movements from a distance, held her breath in tension. Fortunately, Lina successfully pulled her foot out, and there was no collapse around her.

Sasha breathed a sigh of relief, and when she turned around, she saw Glenn with a dark face. If she wasn't mistaken, she thought she saw Daryl's figure flash by in the distance.

Sasha glanced at Lina with sympathy, though she was afraid Lina would also be the target of the anger.
