The world is a piece of dog shit, but luckily you are by my side.

I woke up and went from being Chinese in China to being Chinese in America.

Oh well, being Chinese is fine.

Chapter 94

Lina and the others had made plans to go out. Although Lina couldn't quite remember what they might encounter outside, she vaguely remembered that those who stayed behind would be plagued with one trouble after another.

First, Lina caught Mor in the dark. While everyone was only observing Daryl with a bit of fear, Mor was completely unwelcome.

Moore was aware of this, and had been leaving early and returning late lately. Rick asked him to take the opportunity to familiarize himself with the surroundings, and he was happy to oblige.

Aside from being inexplicably asked by Glenn yesterday to go out with them today to find batteries for the power grid.

He had no problem with Glenn, but he did have a problem with those two 'natives,' and look at their team: Glenn, the police academy girl, a coward, a cripple, and a drag on the team *2.

He genuinely couldn't understand it; what was wrong with being alive?

But Moore still agreed to the trip, at least he could take care of those two hindrances without any guilt, but Glenn couldn't.

When Lina dragged him off the bed, Moore thought he was dreaming.

“This must be a nightmare,” Moore said, closing his eyes peacefully.

Lina rolled her eyes. "Stop playing dumb! I have something to say to you." She sat down on the edge of the bed without any ceremony, crossed her arms, and looked at Moore.

"Speak now, before I wake up..." Moore said lazily.

Lena gave Moore a light tap on the head to make sure he opened his eyes and glared at her. "I'm serious," she said, "you need to keep an eye on Aiden. He's got his tail between his legs." "He'll get our people killed, I'm not kidding."

Moore frowned. "Then I should kill him?"

“If you can guarantee that there won’t be a single trace and that no one will find out, I have no objection at all,” Lina said.

This surprised Moore. "You have such a low opinion of them?"

"...I'm not kidding you," Lina said calmly. "I tried to persuade them, saying that staying inside would save their own lives, but what happened? Nobody listened. Moore, you need to be careful of Aiden and Nicholas," Lina said anxiously. "Of course, you'd better keep your distance from them." Lina racked her brains; she could only remember some strange things those two bastards had done, but couldn't recall the specifics.

“How can we make a move if we don’t stick close to him?” Moore muttered to himself. “I’ll handle it. No one has ever been able to trick Old Man Moore.”

“You’re already missing an arm, you’d better not lose any other parts by the time we get back,” Lina stared at Moore. “Glenn is a kind man, but…”

“Oh, alright, I know what to do,” Moore interrupted Lina impatiently. “Hurry up and go back and pack your things, honestly, stop nagging…”

Lena stood up, still worried. "Be careful," she said. She was really annoyed; she wished she could just grab a gun and blow Aiden and Nicholas's heads off right now.

"Get out, get out!" Moore said irritably, pulling the blanket over his head. It wasn't even dawn yet, and he was so annoyed!

Lena stormed off, and her next task was to find Michonne. On the way, she inevitably passed by Pete and Jesse's house, and coincidentally, Pete was drinking at the door.

The door to the house was wide open, and it was dark inside. Lina didn't know if anything had happened, but she remembered that Rick had fought with this guy.

People who get cheated on are now cheating on others too. It's unbelievable.

Since she had already run into him and there was no one else around, Lina simply walked straight towards the drunkard.

“…Lina Lee? What’s wrong?” Pete looked at her sleepily. “You’re up really early…”

Pete was horrified to find himself being lifted up and slammed against the wall with a thud.

“Listen, you coward, if you dare touch your wife again, I’ll rip your head off when I get back,” Lena whispered threateningly. “And Deanna? She might be able to control others, but that certainly doesn’t include me.” Lena tilted her head, a smirk playing on her lips as she looked at Pete. “I’ll tell Rick to keep an eye on your house. If anything seems amiss… they’ll know. I’m quick, and out of humanitarian concern, you shouldn’t feel much pain.”

Lena abruptly released Pete, who fell to the ground in terror. He quickly became furious. "Are you threatening me?"

"My God, isn't this obvious? I'm warning you," Lena said, dislocating Pete's arm. The scream startled everyone in the house. Lena saw that the lights in Rick's house had come on. Looking at Pete, who was groaning and covered in sweat, Lena smiled and squatted down. "Maybe this will teach you a lesson?" Lena deftly reattached Pete's arm.

When Jesse came out to check, he smiled at her worriedly, "I was passing by and he seems to have twisted his arm. But I know a little about treating dislocations. He was so careless, Pete, you have to be careful."

Pete stared at Lina in horror, speechless. Jesse quickly thanked Lina and then helped Pete up.

“If you need help, you can go to Michonne and Rick,” Lena said to Jesse. Jesse looked at Pete, a little confused, and then Lena laughed. “After all, it’s better for Pete to avoid fighting recently, as it’s not good for his recovery. There’s a saying in my hometown, ‘A close neighbor is worse than a distant relative.’ Rick and Michonne would definitely be happy to come and see if you need help every day.”

"Uh, thank you, thank you," Jesse said blankly.

"Take good care of yourself, Pete. I hope you'll be fully recovered when I get back," Lina said with a gentle smile.

Pete gave Lina a disgusted look, crossed his arms, and went into the house.

Jesse gave an awkward laugh and followed her inside.

Bah, domestic abuser, he should be fed to the walking dead.

Lena rolled her eyes and walked toward Rick's house with a sour face. He and Michonne were waiting leisurely at the door, looking like they knew everything.

"What's wrong?" Michonne asked impatiently.

“Domestic abusers deserve to be punished by everyone,” Lina said.

“What?” Michonne was somewhat shocked. “I didn’t even notice,” she said, glancing warily at the house next door.

"Then you should go hang around there more often. That coward's brain has been ruined by alcohol," Lina glanced at the living room. "You can put your knife away, or hang it in my house."

“Okay,” Michonne thought about it and realized it made sense, “How did you find out?”

"I heard it from someone," Lina said casually, "and you too," Lina squinted at Rick.

"What?" Rick took a step back, feeling that the next second Lina would dislocate him just like she had dislocated Pete's arm.

“Let me tell you, there are limits to caring for your neighbors,” Lina said, rolling her eyes.

"...Me?" Rick was completely confused. He glanced at Michonne, who was also looking at him with an unfriendly expression.

Rick felt he couldn't explain himself clearly, "I didn't..."

“I don’t care if you have eyes or not, just turn your eyes around,” Lina said, turning Rick’s head toward Michonne, “and stop glancing at other people.”

Michonne felt a little uncomfortable and glared at Lina.

“…Lina!” Rick cried out, somewhat embarrassed.

"Oh my god, how can I not worry..." Lina muttered to herself, "Aaron, the only reliable fighter in all of Alexandria, is going out with us, and the rest of the 'talents'... oh my god, I'm already getting a headache..."

Rick and Michonne exchanged a glance and smiled helplessly. "Don't worry, we'll both be fine, otherwise..." Michonne looked at Rick.

Rick suppressed a laugh. "Why don't you stay? How can we feel at ease without the great Boss Lina?"

“…Ugh…you two bastards,” Lina glared at them. “Anyway, these guys are complete idiots, but don’t count on them. Protect yourselves, I have to go back.” Lina frowned, giving Michonne and Rick a strange look for a long time. So, were there any sparks of love burning between these two?

“Okay, okay, boss—” Rick pushed Lina’s shoulder and saw her out of the room. “I will stick to my moral principles and be a good cop.”

"..." Lina glanced speechlessly at Rick, who was trying not to laugh. What could she do? He had already said everything he needed to say. It was truly exasperating.

After seeing Lina off, Rick returned to the house and saw Michonne. Both of them felt a little awkward, and the house remained silent for a long time. "Well, I'll keep an eye on Jesse's situation," Michonne said.

"Uh, okay, okay, if you need any help," Rick nervously licked his lips, his hands fidgeting between his hips and his lowered hands, looking rather at a loss.

Fortunately, Michonne wasn't in the mood to tease Rick at the moment. She just gave an awkward smile and turned to go back to her room.

Rick stood in the living room for a long time before finally sighing helplessly, "Oh...Lina..." he muttered resignedly.

Was that Michonne's embarrassed look just now, or... cough... something else? Rick scratched his hair and sighed. Lena!!!

Lina felt she had finished giving instructions to the people she needed to, even though they didn't seem to care at all!

In short, no matter how conflicted they were, dawn broke, and they had to set off.

Daryl rode his motorcycle ahead, while Aaron drove with Lina in the car. The three of them left Alexandria as dawn broke.

“Don’t worry, trust them,” Aaron comforted him.

“It would be best if…” Lina said softly.
