Guo Xiaoxiao now resorts to bringing up the Beast God at the drop of a hat, and when in doubt, she resorts to quantum mechanics.

As soon as she brought up the Beast God, the orcs clearly started to believe her; it was that magical.

I don't believe the high priest would lie to us.

"Hehe, I didn't say the Great Shaman would lie to us. I'll believe her if I come out with her. It's just that we haven't finished the dried meat yet, so we won't be hunting for now. I'm too tired today."

The beef had been roasting on the rack for a long time. Since it was outdoors, even with parasites, it still needed to be eaten well. Randy found some leaves to use as spices for the smoke.

A minor incident occurred when Abil arrived to stop them, due to the same problem as the other orcs.

What if you all get infected? And it's the Beastmaster, plus a pregnant female who can orient herself.

Parasites are unpredictable; they're impossible to completely prevent. Why are you being so careless?

Once you've eaten it, no one can save you.

Guo Xiaoxiao patiently explained for a while, but in desperation, she brought out the Beast God again. Seeing that she couldn't persuade him anymore, Abil gave up and left.

Everyone was waiting to see if Guo Xiaoxiao and the others would have any reaction after eating it for a couple of days. The food each person had was enough to last for a few more days; eventually, they would have to go hunting.

Even Amansa dared not approach. The fear of death was a long-term one; no one could calmly approach something that might lead to their death.

The beef was grilled, and Carlos thoughtfully used a knife to cut pieces of meat, placing them on a large leaf before presenting them to Guo Xiaoxiao. The aroma was irresistible; the use of special spice leaves truly made it extraordinary.

Guo Xiaoxiao couldn't wait to pick up a piece and put it in her mouth. Mmm~ fresh and tender, delicious! No wonder it's Carlos's cooking. One bite, and the juices filled her mouth. It was so satisfying! She kept praising it.

It was clearly grilled meat that was completely dissected, and although it was beef, it tasted like pork.

Seeing her eating so happily, Carlos smiled and asked, "Is it good?"

"Mmm, it's delicious!"

Guo Xiaoxiao nodded repeatedly

"Then eat more. Let's eat and drink our fill tonight, and continue our journey tomorrow."

As night fell, everyone slept on the lawn, several of them side by side.

The stars twinkled in the sky, hanging there one by one. Guo Xiaoxiao looked at them for a while, then felt her eyes getting sore. She rubbed her eyelids and closed them to rest; she was extremely sleepy, and her head was spinning.

In her daze, Guo Xiaoxiao seemed to feel someone hugging her tightly. She tried to open her eyes to see who it was.

As a result, a heavy object landed, instantly waking Guo Xiaoxiao. Seeing it was Randy, she patted her chest and whispered...
