The world is filled with myriad sects, horrific demons, and rising heroes, but each only reigns for a few hundred years. This world had no protagonist; it was merely a cycle of one power replacing ...
Unidentified flowers and grasses grow on both sides of the path, clearly trimmed by someone, growing neatly and orderly, making one curious about what lies at the end of the path.
Everyone was clearly familiar with this place. The group walked down the winding path and came to a sudden opening at the end of the path.
This path actually cuts through the mountainside and connects to the village at the foot of the mountain.
Beside the village, accompanied by the booming sound of rushing water, a magnificent waterfall cascades down, converging to form a lake, adding a touch of poetry to the village.
When everyone arrived at the village entrance, they all breathed a sigh of relief, even the usually serious Yao Ge, as if they were finally safe.
Then Yao instructed the other villagers to take the headless carcass of the tusked wild boar to the village's food storage.
Because the village operates under a collective ownership system and distributes resources equally according to need, all the food obtained from hunting and foraging must be handed over to the village for unified sorting and distribution.
Then Yao and Ahui exchanged a glance and carried the unconscious human toward the deepest part of the village.
There stood a simple three-story pavilion, built entirely of grass and wood, seemingly using locally sourced materials. Though simple, it was not without its beauty.
This place is also the village meeting place. Any important announcements or major decisions in the village are announced and discussed here to solicit everyone's opinions in order to reach a unified consensus.
"Village elder, Ah Yao (Ah Hui) has returned from his trip and has something to tell you!"
Ah Yao and Ah Hui stopped at the door of the attic at the same time, leaned forward slightly, and bowed slightly as they spoke softly to the closed attic.
"Come in!"
A deep, aged yet dignified voice came from the attic.
Pushing open the door, one sees an elderly man with gray hair and a long beard reaching the ground, staring intently at the unconscious human being being supported by Ah Hui and Ah Yao.
Before the old man could speak again, A Yao told him in detail the whole story of the trip and also revealed all his doubts and questions without holding anything back. It seemed that he trusted the old man quite a bit.
The long-bearded old man fell into deep thought after hearing this, and an uneasy atmosphere filled the air.
Ah Hui and Ah Yao exchanged a glance, both seeing the unease in each other's eyes. They were unsure what consequences their act of saving the person would bring, and it was the first time they had ever seen the village elder with such a cautious expression.
After an unknown amount of time, the long-bearded old man seemed to have made some progress in his thinking, and he coughed lightly and said:
"There are many suspicious points in this matter, but this person is undoubtedly of the same clan. Since he is of the same clan, we certainly cannot leave him unrestrained. You two have done a good job. However, the most urgent task at present is to wake him up first, and then make other plans."
Ah Hui and Ah Yao breathed a sigh of relief. At least they hadn't made a mistake in saving them. All their hard work over the past few days hadn't been in vain. If they had ended up saving a member of the You Clan or the Wei Clan, they would have been doomed to die a hundred times over.
“Go and call A-Jing over. He is the most knowledgeable person in the village. Let’s see if he can find a way to wake this person up.”
Before long, a simply dressed, stocky man appeared in the attic. He had a smile on his face and gave people a warm feeling. This must be the A-Jing that the village elder had mentioned earlier.
At this time, only the village elder and A-Jing remained in the attic. The others had gone somewhere, apparently unable to help, as they had all gone to attend to their own affairs.
"This person is truly extraordinary. In my experience, he is a rare find. It is truly an eye-opener."
"This person has been in a coma for years, and now he is barely breathing. He must be a person of extraordinary talent, otherwise he could not have survived until now."
"Think of that giant forest, where monsters roam freely, devouring everything in their path, killing without end. How can a mere human remain unharmed?" A-Jing said excitedly.
“That being said, remaining unconscious is of no use. Although we are of the same clan, we must be of one mind. Does A-Jing have any ideas?” the village elder said after a moment of contemplation.
"This person is too peculiar, and I'm not entirely confident. I can only give it a try," A-Jing said hesitantly.
Having said that, without waiting for the village elder to say anything more, he appeared in front of the unconscious human in a flash.
He placed his left hand on his right wrist, clenched his right fist, and then extended his index and middle fingers, bringing them together in a strange gesture. He pointed at the unconscious human, and a white light, visible to the naked eye, appeared at his fingertips, growing larger and larger.
Immediately following a low shout, the gathered white light shot towards the unconscious human, following the direction of the finger, and instantly entered his body.
Visible white light traveled through the limbs of the unconscious human, eventually gathering at the head. The light grew brighter and brighter, so dazzling that it made people want to close their eyes.
The village elder, however, kept his eyes glued to everything that was happening before him, afraid of missing a single detail.
Sweat was already dripping from A Jing's forehead as she performed the technique, clearly indicating that the procedure was not as easy as it appeared.
The white light gathered around the head of the unconscious person increased, gradually reaching what seemed like a critical point.
Ah Jing also appeared somewhat unsteady, indicating that this technique was a heavy burden for him.
In the blink of an eye, with a sudden "buzz," an invisible wave began to radiate outwards from the unconscious human. Dense white light, accompanied by a "buzz," entered the unconscious human's head and vanished instantly.
As A-Jing wiped her sweat, she stared at the unconscious human in front of her, but the unconscious human did not react at all, as if everything that had just happened had not occurred.
The village elder was also somewhat puzzled, looking at A-Jing with a hint of doubt:
"Is it okay?"
"By guiding photon energy into the meridians of a comatose human to stimulate his senses, we can attempt to awaken his consciousness."
"As for whether it will be effective, it varies from person to person. This person has been in a coma for too long, and even if he is to wake up, it will not be overnight."
