Lin Xiao rolled his eyes: "Stop babbling and hurry up and take him back for interrogation, lest things get complicated."

Yan Feng waved his hand: "I know, I know."

He glanced at a woman behind him, who nodded, reached out and grabbed him, and the man in the sweater was lifted into the air, flying in mid-air.

Lu Ning glanced at her; this was the same telekinetic ability as Colin's.

Yan Feng looked at Lin Xiao and Lu Ning: "Do you want to come back with us?"

Lin Xiao thought for a moment, then looked at Lu Ning and said, "I'll go with them to avoid any accidents. You go find Colin and the others."

Lu Ning nodded: "Mm."

Yan Feng glanced at Lu Ning, his eyes filled with complex emotions, but he didn't say anything more.

Lu Ning walked past Yan Feng and the others, heading out of the alley.

Only after Lu Ning left did Yan Feng turn to Lin Xiao and ask, "How's that kid? Is there anything wrong with him?"

Lin Xiao glanced at Yan Feng and could see the apprehension in Yan Feng's eyes. He grinned and said, "This is a big problem."

Yan Feng's expression changed slightly, and he frowned as he looked at Lin Xiao, saying, "Then why didn't you report it?!"

"It's already been reported, huh? The problem with this kid is that he's too damn strong. He's only been here a short time and he's already accomplished so much. "I know." Lin Xiao rolled his eyes dismissively. "I actually think this kid is not bad, although he's a bit annoying."

Lu Ning returned to her room in Building 5 of Anna's residential complex.

Wei Xuan continued to stare at Samantha's room. Colin asked, "How is it?"

"They've already been taken away."

Colin smiled and said, "This was quite a haul."

Wei Xuan didn't turn around, but smiled and said, "This is a big breakthrough! Hopefully we can get some information out of them."

Lu Ning nodded, then asked, "Has Samantha not made a move?"

Wei Xuan shook his head: "No, her room was lit up, and I could see shadows every now and then, so there shouldn't be anything unusual."

Lu Ning didn't ask any more questions and sat down on the sofa.

Colin then said, "Now that Lu Ning is here, I'll go keep an eye on Building 4. You two stay here. With Lu Ning here, I'll feel more at ease even if something happens."

Wei Xuan paused for a moment upon hearing this, then said, "Okay."

Colin looked at Lu Ning and smiled, "If there are any problems, make a fuss immediately, and I'll come over."

Lu Ning nodded without saying anything.

After Colin left the room, only Lu Ning and Wei Xuan remained.

Lu Ning leaned back on the sofa, staring blankly at the dim ceiling.

The only light in the room was the dim candlelight on the coffee table.

After a long silence, Wei Xuan finally spoke with some envy: "Lu Ning, sometimes I really envy you. Your mental pollution level never increases. That's so cool. And you're so talented. You learn everything so quickly."

Lu Ning glanced at Wei Xuan and said calmly, "If you walked in the mist for two thousand years and couldn't see or feel anything, you wouldn't be envious."

Wei Xuan paused for a moment after hearing this, then smiled and said, "You're right. I can't even imagine what kind of experience you have."

The two stopped talking and continued to stare at Samantha's room.

As night fell, Samantha's room lights went out, and there was still no word from Colin.

It wasn't until the next morning, when the residents of the community got up and went to work, that Colin called Lu Ning and Wei Xuan.

"Samantha has gone out."

Lu Ning and Wei Xuan perked up and left the room.

They secretly followed Samantha out of the neighborhood, and then rode in Colin's SUV, following Samantha's car all the way to Tianxing Entertainment Group before stopping.

Watching Samantha enter the company, Colin adjusted his glasses and said, "It seems she didn't get anything here. Let's go back."

Wei Xuan and Lu Ning nodded slightly.

Wei Xuan asked, "I wonder how things are going with the captain?"

Colin shook his head: "I don't know, but it probably won't be that soon."

The three returned to the branch.

Upon seeing this, Yu Ran, who was sitting at the front desk, quickly looked up and smiled, "Lu Ning, you're back? That Ms. Farin is still in the reception room. How is she doing? Have you found her lover?"
