****Riceryu-class battleship****

The Richelieu was the lead ship of the Richelieu-class battleships built by the Vichy French Navy during World War II. After being refitted, it became the most advanced and powerful battleship in Europe during World War II, ranking first in overall capabilities.

The Richelieu-class battleships had a standard displacement of [number] tons and a full load displacement of [number] tons. They were armed with eight 380mm main guns on the foredeck, nine 152mm dual-purpose guns on the aft deck, and twelve 100mm anti-aircraft guns on both sides of the hull, giving them dense offensive firepower.

This class of ship is powered by six pressurized boiler steam engines, with a total power of 157,000 horsepower, and the warship can reach a speed of 32 knots.

Four ships of this class were originally planned to be built, but only two were actually completed. The lead ship was the Richelieu, and the second ship was the Jean Bart. Construction of the lead ship began on October 22, 1935, and it was named the Richelieu on January 17, 1939. In May 1940, Germany invaded Vichy France, and Vichy France surrendered. In June 1940, the Richelieu entered service with the Vichy French Navy.

The second ship, Jean Bart, was laid down on December 12, 1936, and forcibly launched on May 6, 1940, and towed to Casablanca.
