After stuffing the rag in, Lindsay's whole body went limp. Hearing Gu Li's words, she looked at her in disbelief.

"Why do you need to know these things? It's too dangerous at night. I advise you not to know."

Lindsay stepped over the steward, grabbed the opened bottle of red wine, and took several large gulps. Combined with her disheveled hair, her demeanor underwent a dramatic transformation.

Lindsay leaned against the table and looked lazily at Gu Li: "Trust me, the less you know here, the safer you are."

She pulled out a cigarette from somewhere, put it in her mouth without smoking it, and looked at Gu Li lazily: "Damn it, you look a bit like someone I know."

After she finished speaking, she walked towards the door, muttering to herself, "If they don't want to exchange, then forget it. I'll find a way to stay outside tonight and keep an eye on things."

Caroline suddenly smiled and brought her back: "The cooperation is negotiable, don't be in such a hurry."

Caroline continued, "Maids who make mistakes in the side building will be taken to the main building to work."

"But they had already undergone a complete mutation before they went there."

Gu Li pondered, "Does the main building only need the mutated servants?"

Caroline shrugged: "I haven't had a chance to go to the main building yet, but I think it's pretty much the same. The mysterious church people should be in the main building. They no longer consider themselves human."

When she mentioned the mysterious church, a hint of disgust appeared in her eyes.

Gu Li nodded and shared another piece of information she knew with her: "The rooms at the far end of the second floor are full of these things, but they only appear at night. During the day... they are the residents of the city."

Caroline's expression froze. She opened her mouth as if to ask Gu Li if she was sure, but she closed her mouth again under Gu Li's calm gaze.

She lit a cigarette and laughed self-deprecatingly, "Why don't we just burn this lousy place down? What a mess this place is! This city is really... hopeless."

Caroline walked toward the steward who was slumped on the ground, then turned to look at Gu Li: "What should we do with this person?"

Gu Li: "Tie it tight and throw it up to the second floor."

The two appeared in the building as if nothing had happened, and after circling around in front of the others, they dispersed.

Night seemed to fall exceptionally quickly in Bellamy's. After Gu Li had looked through almost all the rooms in the villa, a sound suddenly came from the front door on the first floor.

Someone has come in.

Gu Li glanced at the newcomer from a secluded corner on the second floor. As always, the newcomer wore a black suit and top hat, followed by several people, the most conspicuous of whom was a curly-haired young man who was running around everywhere.

She glanced at it to confirm, then climbed out of the second-floor window. Just as she landed, she saw another figure on the other side of the building in the distance.

The group stirred for a while, then turned and left under the intervention of a tall figure.
